Description

Light up the grid

Neon Grid brings glowing neon gear to Minecraft. Throw a light disc that always flies back to your hand, suit up in glowing armor and build a world of shining grid lines.

Grid Disc

  • Right-click to throw. The disc flies straight, bounces off a wall and chains between up to 3 enemies, then always comes back to you, even through walls. It can never be lost or duplicated.
  • Rides on your back. Any disc you carry (but are not holding) shows on your back, over your chestplate, and gives +3 Armor and +1 Toughness on top of your normal armor.
  • Will not hit you or your own pets.
  • 5 colors: Cyan, Orange, Magenta, Lime and White.

Overclock Chips

Craft a disc with an Overclock Chip to upgrade it up to Overclock III. Every level adds more damage, longer range, one more wall bounce and one more enemy in the chain. The disc keeps its color, name and enchantments.

Grid Suit armor

Black suits with glowing lines and a dark visor helmet, in all 5 colors. A full suit gives 17 armor and 4 toughness (between iron and diamond). Repair it with glowstone dust.

Grid Blocks and Neon Lamps

Grid Blocks are dark tiles with glowing edges, so a floor of them turns into a glowing grid. Neon Lamps give full light. Both come in all 5 colors.

Crafting

  • Grid Disc: iron ingots in the corners, glowstone dust on the sides and a dye in the middle.
  • Overclock Chip: redstone in the corners, glowstone dust on the sides and a diamond in the middle.
  • Grid Block (x8): polished blackstone on top and bottom rows, glowstone dust, dye, glowstone dust in the middle row.
  • Neon Lamp (x4): glass around a glowstone block with a dye at the bottom.
  • Grid Suit: normal armor shapes made from Grid Blocks of one color.

All recipes show up in your recipe book.
