Description
🧠 NerveLink
Connect your Minecraft server to Discord — no bot required.
NerveLink listens to your server's events (players joining, deaths, kills, chat, advancements, commands, and much more) and sends them straight to any Discord webhook as beautiful embeds. Fully configurable in-game, without editing a single file.
✨ Features
- No bot needed — just create a Discord webhook and paste the URL. Done.
- 16+ built-in events: join/leave, death, advancements, commands, chat, block break/place, mob kills, boss kills, dimension changes, level ups, item pickups, respawns, server start/stop.
- Catch-all event detection — NerveLink listens to the Forge event bus and can fire on events from any other mod installed (dragons, spells, machines...), with zero code from those mods.
- Beautiful Discord embeds by default — colored cards with title, message and timestamp.
- Full personalization per trigger: message, title, color, cooldown, conditions, username and avatar.
- Configure everything from the chat — no JSON editing required for basic use.
- Multi-language default config — messages are generated in your game's language (English/Spanish).
- Auto-reload — edit your config file and it reloads itself.
- Rate-limit safe — webhooks are sent in a queue, so Discord never throttles you.
- Public API for modders (
NerveLinkAPI.fire()).
🚀 Quick Start
- In Discord: Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook → Copy URL.
- Launch Minecraft with Forge 1.20.1 and join a world. NerveLink creates its config automatically at
config/nervelink/triggers.json. - Run
/nervelink seturl <your-webhook-url>to set your webhook on all triggers at once. - Done! Join/leave, die, kill a mob or get an advancement — you'll see it in your Discord channel.

if |

On/off | true |
Placeholders: {player}, {reason}, {advancement}, {command}, {block}, {boss}, {mob}, {entity}, {item}, {message}, {level}, {to}, {from}, {world}, {dimension}, {coords}, {x}, {y}, {z}, {time}, {health}.
Conditions support ==, !=, contains, >, <, >=, <= — e.g. "if": "entity == minecraft:zombie" or "if": "level >= 5".
🪄 Events from other mods
NerveLink hears everything that passes through the Forge event bus. Set "debug": true in the config, play for a while, and check config/nervelink/detected_events.txt — you'll find the class names of events fired by your other mods. Copy any of them as a trigger and you have a webhook for that event, no code involved.
👨💻 For modders
NerveLinkAPI.fire("my_event", Map.of("player", name, "message", text));
Any trigger with "event": "my_event" will pick it up. Your mod needs zero dependencies at compile time — just add NerveLink as a soft dependency.
❓ FAQ
- Does it work on servers? Yes — client and server events are both covered, and it works great on dedicated servers.
- Do I need a bot token? No. Only a Discord webhook URL.
- Can I send to Slack or generic webhooks? Yes — use
"format": "text". - Is my webhook URL safe? Treat it like a password — anyone with the URL can post to that channel.
