About

Description

This is my 1st mod for minecraft and its far from complete.

So Nether Farming adds a few different crops to the nether which allow you to have a bit more survivability.

Whats included:

  • Cinder Wheat which is crafted into Cinder Dough and then cooked into Cinder Bread. This has a chance to grant fire resistance upon eating
  • Glowberries similar to Sweetberries and are grown on the new fertile soul soil or the tilled soul soil these have a chance to cause glowing upon eating also if you punch a mob while holding these then the mob will start to glow
  • Bloodbark Fungus plant on soul soil and use bonemeal to grow into a huge Bloodbark Fungus
  • Hellkin this is a melon type plant that when crafted with Bloodbark Wart makes the Hellkin Blood Curry
  • Gloom Squash which is another melon type plant that requires cooking before eating

in order to grow these crops you need to fertilize Soul Soil by right clicking a Soul Soil block with bonemeal. Once fertilized use a hoe to till it. Tilled Soul Soil need to be within a 4 block radius of lava (similar to how farmland needs water). Using bonemeal on soul soil and fertile soul soil will also generate soul roots which when broken provide the seeds for the crops, also theres a chance for bloodbark fungus and glowberry crops to appear

As long as current version is stable 1.4 maybe the last version for 1.16.5 but if i get any new ideas or suggestions other changes may occur and new crops/foods may get added at some point. Any feedback and/or suggestions are welcome just try and keep critisims constructive so i can learn from them and try and improve the mod
