NSE is a large Naruto mod for Minecraft: NeoForge 1.21.1 (public beta) and Forge 1.20.1 (development discontinued)

Implemented in the 1.21.1 version:

6 playable clans

Uchiha, Uzumaki, Otsutsuki, Hagoromo, Hyuga, and Senju, or you can choose to stay clanless.

  • Each clan has its own bonus system: some level up certain skills faster, some regenerate chakra faster, and some move faster.
  • For example, only Hagoromo and Otsutsuki can obtain Sage Artifacts for "experience". Everyone else can only get them by defeating powerful enemies.
  • Every clan has a description on the selection screen at the start of the game to help you make your final choice.

Sharingan progression

  • Six Mangekyo Sharingans (MS) are available, and the same number of Eternal Mangekyo Sharingans (EMS) will be added in the next version:
    • Itachi, Sasuke, Madara, Obito, Shisui, and Izuna. You can obtain and master all of these MS.

43 techniques

  • Currently the mod includes 43 techniques covering the 5 basic natures, Ninjutsu, the Yang element, and Medical Ninjutsu.

Chakra system

NSE features eight skills that affect how you learn techniques, fight, and spend chakra:

  • Ninjutsu: mastery of non-elemental and elemental jutsu. Leveling it up makes learning new techniques more efficient.
  • Taijutsu: mastery of hand-to-hand combat techniques. Leveling it up makes learning close-combat techniques more efficient.
  • Genjutsu: the ability to both cast and detect illusion and hypnosis techniques. Leveling it up improves your genjutsu and increases your resistance to the illusions and hypnosis of opponents.
  • Intelligence: knowledge of history, wisdom, and IQ. It is leveled up by studying historical references and scrolls, and makes learning jutsu of other disciplines (Medical Ninjutsu, Fuinjutsu) more efficient.
  • Strength: physical power. Leveling it up increases the damage you deal with taijutsu and weapons.
  • Speed: swiftness of movement and reflexes. Leveling it up increases your movement and attack speed, and your reflexes give you a passive chance to dodge.
  • Stamina: your pool of Stamina (Spiritual Energy and Physical Energy), the foundation of chakra. Leveling it up increases not only your stamina but also your health. (If your stamina runs out, you suffer negative effects or die.)
  • Seals: mastery of forming hand seals. Leveling it up makes technique activation more efficient (faster jutsu charging and fewer hand seal animations), and also improves chakra control and reduces chakra consumption.

Scroll discovery system

  • Scrolls can be found both in the mod's new structures and in vanilla dungeons across all dimensions.
