About
Description
New Woods is a mod that adds every single wood that has been added since 1.12.2, only for this same version. Each and every one of them is perfectly obtainable and craftable in Survival. The mod also adds a couple of extra blocks that are related to wood or the wood tree.
Update 1.0.1: Natural growth of saplings.
Saplings now require a minimum space of at least 5 blocks to grow naturally. This prevents trees from accidentally growing and breaking blocks or structures.
Additionally, this prevents a large number of saplings from growing together, forming a clump of trees.
Finally, this 5-block restriction does not apply to bone dust.
How to obtain wood:
Warperd and Crimson
They generate randomly in the Nether in Soulsand areas. As extra blocks, we have shroomlight, along with the respective grass blocks. These do not generate naturally but are craftable. Right-clicking one of these blocks will give you its respective sprout.
Bamboo
It is obtained in the jungle, and its seed is craftable.
Mangrove
It generates in swamps, and its seed is obtained by breaking the sprouts hanging from the tree itself. As an extra block, we have the roots themselves.
Cherry
Appears in mountains; its seed is craftable.
Pale
Appears in dark forests; its seed is craftable. Additional blocks include moss, the new flowers, the creaking heart, and all resin materials.
Vanilla Stuff
Also added are the base game log variants, plus the various trapdoors that were missing.
The Wood Splitter.
This is a new workstation that allows you to obtain all wood-derived materials, but at a lower price.
(Note: This table primarily works with the wood from the mod, as there are some crafting issues with MCreator. In the case of vanilla wood, these only give you a couple of materials, since for some reason the program treats the planks as a single unit.)
Things Not Added and Hardly Added to the Mod

-Sings
