This mod changes your username when you communicate in chat(CLIENT SIDE ONLY)

This mod is perfect for:

  • Youtube Videos where you need a custom name
  • Hiding your name from people when you send someone an image
  • Streamers that dont want to get stream sniped as easily
  • If you prefer having your username something else when you look at chat

Usage: ~nick [Custom Nickname]

Q&A:

Why did you make this mod? I made this mod because I couldn't find any nickname changers avaliable for forge 1.12.2

Why is the command ~nick and not /nick? I used the ~ because I did not want to interfere with any other nickname related mods(especially on servers)

Can other people see my custom username? No, this is a client side mod, so only you will see the custom username in chat
