About
Description
This Minecraft datapack introduces the unpredictable charm of British weather, where players can expect rain on most days. With an 80% chance of rain, the skies are frequently overcast, and outdoor activities like farming, mining, and exploring are constantly affected by the drizzle. While the rain doesn't physically change the landscape, it creates a moody atmosphere and can alter the feel of your adventures, adding an extra layer of immersion. Whether you're trudging through the rain-soaked forests or huddling indoors to avoid the downpour, the pack captures the essence of a classic British day.
In an alternate version of the datapack, inspired by the long-term effects of global warming, rain becomes a rare occurrence—if it happens at all. This dry variant reflects a world where climate change has disrupted natural weather patterns, leading to prolonged droughts and parched landscapes. Without the frequent rain, cauldrons will go unfilled and crops will go unwatered.
