Anima
Anima is a simple mod that shows you the souls of the mobs you kill!
Fully clientside
Anima works fine in dedicated servers. It works by controlling and replacing the rendering shader mobs use. This means that special animations as well as on-death functionality should be preserved.
Custom shader
Anima works by using a custom shader, which may or may not play weirdly with Vanilla transparency. Rendering such a mob in front of other transparent bodies, like water, might display rendering artifacts. This is expected.
