Description

REQUIRED MODS:

 

This datapack buffs guards so they have better gear in general, general features are:

  • Every armor piece has a 20% chance to be enchanted between 15-30 levels; (Except diamond)
  • Every melee weapon has a 20% chance to be enchanted between 3-24 levels;
  • Guards now have a chance to spawn with steel weapons from Alloyed;
  • Guards now have a chance to spawn with shields from Shield Expansion;
  • Adds bows & axes to weapon pool;
  • Upped chance for spawning with armor by a lot.

 

Made this simple datapack quickly to compensate for the fact that in my modpack the guards nearly immediately die.

Honestly, I may not update this but this may serve as a good example for you how to customize the guards loadout through datapacks.
