About

Description

Noah's Money Mod is a lightweight, server-side money system for Minecraft, powered entirely by vanilla scoreboard commands. Perfect for servers that need a basic economy without relying on external databases or complex setups.

The mod makes it easy to customize the economy with simple scoreboard logic and allows you to manage players' balances using vanilla commands.

Features

  • /pay <player> <amount> — Send money to another player
  • /setmoney <player> <amount> — (OP only) Set a player's balance directly
  • Players automatically start with 0 money on first join
  • Persistent HUD displays your current money balance
  • Daily bonus — Players receive 100 money every day (configurable in the future)
  • 100% based on Minecraft’s vanilla scoreboard system — easy to modify!

Coming Soon

  • Online market — sell and buy items on the stock market which is shared between everyone using the mod or sell and buy items for a fixed price

  • Shop Block — Sell items for money directly in the game world

  • /request <player> <amount> — Request money from another player

  • /accept — Accept the most recent money request

  • Admin commands like /addmoney and /removemoney

  • Configurable starting balance and daily bonus

Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader
  2. Install Fabric API
  3. Drop the .jar file into your mods/ folder
  4. The mod will automatically initialize when a player tries to send money using the /pay command for the first time.
  5. If needed, admins can also manually initialize the system using: /initialise money

This is useful for redundancy, but not required for normal use.

Compatibility

  • Minecraft 1.21.5
  • Fabric Loader
  • Server-side only, works on both single-player and multiplayer servers
