Description
Noble Phantasms was developed for the 2026 CurseForge Echoes of the Past Modjam!

Noble Phantasms
Discover relics inspired by ancient Egypt, Norse legend, Arthurian myth, feudal Japan, and the Aztec world. These weapons, armor pieces, tools, and accessories introduce new ways to fight, travel, survive, gather resources, enchant equipment, and manipulate the world around you.
Mark enemies for judgement, charge into battle with a legendary lance, command animals with the regalia of a pharaoh, throw a spear that never misses its target, grow ore veins with a magical mallet, or accept a dangerous curse in exchange for twice the treasure. That's only a small part of what you can experience with this mod! Explore and find out by yourself!

Mobs
In the overworld, you can encounter new mobs. The mod adds five new mobs, one representing each civilization. Each mob drops a unique relic fragment associated with its civilization.
These fragments can later be brushed to uncover specific item fragments. Once you have gathered enough of them, you can use them to craft powerful relic items.
Ecclesiastic

Once a bishop and a faithful follower of the faith, he is now nothing more than a remnant of what he once was.
Even in death, he continues to serve his faith. He protects the other mobs around him by granting them impenetrable shields. These shields can only be broken by defeating the Ecclesiastic himself. He can defend more allies when he faces more players.
Spawns in Dark Forest Biome. Drops Arthurian Legend fragments.
Anubite

A loyal guardian of the pharaohs, the Anubite continues to protect even the ruins of what was once his home.
Possessing inhuman strength, he can attack with both hands, allowing him to strike twice as quickly as other mobs. He also gets more powerful with each health he looses.
Spawns in Desert Biome. Drops Ancient Egypt fragments.
Draugr

Once a mighty warrior, faithful to the Norse Pantheon. Now, he has returned from the grave once more to protect his gods.
The Draugr can resurrect up to two times after being killed, returning to the fight after a few seconds. To prevent him from rising again, you must burn his body before he can return. His attacks also apply chill that can freeze you.
Spawns in Snowy Taiga Biome. Drops Norse Legend fragments.
Oni

The Oni is a massive demon warrior, possessing immense strength at the cost of speed. His attacks are slow and deliberate, but each strike packs tremendous power.
He also wields a fearsome weapon capable of stunning his enemies, making every hit a threat.
Spawns in Cherry Groove biome. Drops Feudal Japan fragments.
Jaguar Micqui

Jaguar Micqui is a mighty Aztec warrior, feared for his strength and deadly skill. He wields a powerful weapon capable of inflicting devastating bleeding wounds upon his opponents.
He can also stealth, making him able to strike his enemies when they least expect it.
Spawns in Jungle Biome. Drops Aztec Legend fragments.
Items and Blocks
Relic Fragments

Each of the previously described mobs drops a unique civilization fragment. Once you obtain one, you can brush it to uncover a specific item fragment.
To do so, simply drop the civilization fragment on the ground and use a brush on it. After brushing the fragment, you will obtain an item fragment.
These fragments are tracked individually for each player and are not physical items. You can check your collected fragments in the Mythical Reliquary.

Mythical Reiliquary

The Mythical Reliquary is a book designed to help you better understand the mod and its relics. It contains the history and usage details of every relic added by the mod.
It also allows you to keep track of your progress by showing how many fragments you have collected for each item.
The Mythical Reliquary can be crafted by combining a regular book with any civilization fragment.

Reliquary station

It is a table used to combine fragments. You can use fragments you have already acquired to create new ones. The combining process is performed through a minigame.
Relics
The mod adds over 40 unique relics, each featuring its own unique mechanic. The relics are divided into five different civilizations, each with its own distinct theme and identity.
Below, you can find a description of each relic and its unique abilities.
Ancient Egypt

- Eye of Horus - Equip in a Curios necklace slot. Hold your crosshair on a living target for 2 seconds to apply Judgement for 15 seconds, marking it with a golden glow and making it take 25% more damage from all sources. Judged enemies you kill have a chance to drop glowing Eye Shards. Up to six pieces grant 5% damage and reduce gaze time by 0.25 seconds each. At six pieces, the next fully charged Judgement marks nearby enemies in a radiant burst.
- Ankh - Equip in a Curios charm or compatible totem slot. Fatal damage restores full health, releases a damaging and blinding radiant burst, and grants 15 seconds of invulnerability. Reborn prevents another activation for 2 minutes.
- Kheper Scarab - Right-click while held to toggle the scarab. While active in a Curios charm slot, it repairs each damaged item in your hands and armor slots by 1 durability every 2 seconds, consuming 1 experience point per durability restored.
- Scales of Maat - Right-click a living target to set your health percentage and theirs to their average. Bosses can lose at most 10% of their maximum health per use. 30 second cooldown.
- Weben - Charges for 10 seconds while carried in direct sunlight. A fully charged strike releases a fiery flare for bonus damage and ignites the target.
- Bia-en-Pet - Melee strikes ignore the target's armor while still respecting shields, enchantments, effects, absorption, and immunity frames.
- Medju Netjer - Use Medju Netjer on an enchanting table to install it. Sneak-right-click the table with an empty hand to remove it. While installed, it reveals enchantment offers and lets you reroll them for 1 Lapis Lazuli.
Arthurian Legend

- Scabbard - Equip in a Curios belt slot. Constantly regenerates health faster as your health falls and prevents poison, wither, and bleed effects.
- Carnwennan - Look directly at a mob within 16 blocks and right-click to shadow-step behind it in a burst of black smoke. Carnwennan deals 50% more damage when striking a target from behind. 5 second cooldown.
- Pridwen - Raise the shield to project an enlarged energy copy of Pridwen in front of you. Hostile projectiles and ranged attacks stop against it while allied attacks pass through.
- Clydno Halter - Use on a horse to fit the halter and receive its bound Recall Bell. Ring the bell anywhere to summon the horse. Sneak-use the bell on that horse to recover the halter.
- Holy Grail - The Grail stores 20 charges. Drinking spends one charge every half-second to restore 1 health, 1 hunger, and 1 saturation. Releasing grants Health Boost and Regeneration based on the amount consumed; drinking at least half a Grail grants Health Boost II. One charge returns every 9 seconds, refilling an empty Grail in 3 minutes.
Norse Legend

- Gram - Every third fully charged damaging hit against a hostile or neutral target triggers Fafnir's Bite, adding damage that scales with how much the target's maximum health exceeds yours.
- Tyrfing - Carrying Tyrfing without wielding it reduces attack damage, attack speed, and movement speed. Wielding it suppresses the curse. Direct kills with Tyrfing grant Bloodlust for 12 seconds, stacking up to five times. Each stack grants +0.75 attack damage, +6% attack speed, and +4% movement speed.
- Gjallarhorn - Sound Gjallarhorn to inflict Fear on non-allied creatures and players within 24 blocks for 4 seconds. Feared creatures abandon combat and flee from the horn's wielder, while feared players lose control of their movement. The wielder and all allies have Fear removed and gain Strength for 8 seconds. 30 second cooldown.
- Andvaranaut - Equip in a Curios ring slot. Mob loot drops are doubled, but all damage you take is doubled.
- Draupnir - Carry Draupnir to generate gold every 30 seconds. Equip it in a Curios ring slot to make piglins treat you as though you are wearing gold armor.
- Hofskor - Equip in a Curios charm slot. Your horse gains 40% speed, two-block step height, and immunity to fall damage while ridden.
Feudal Japan

- Kazaguruma - Right-click to throw the chained sickle up to 12 blocks. It damages and hooks the first living target struck, then pulls the target into melee range. 3 second cooldown.
- Raiko - Use to beat the drum and call lightning at the point you are looking at within 40 blocks. 5 second cooldown.
- Yasakani no Magatama - Equip as a Curios necklace. Damage can birth one of five 30-second guardians. Each fights with your attack damage, grants +1 armor toughness and 4% damage reduction, and has a distinct role.
- Yata no Kagami - Raise the mirror as a shield. Projectiles it blocks reverse course at twice their incoming speed and belong to you after reflection.
- Iwatōshi - Hold use to charge an expanding sweep, gaining a tier every second. Release early for a growing frontal cleave. At four seconds, Iwatōshi automatically unleashes a 360-degree cleave that knocks surrounding enemies outward.
Aztec Legend

- Talons of the Eagle Knight - Crouch while airborne to dive rapidly. Landing creates a 4-block shockwave that deals more damage the farther you fell, while negating the slam's fall damage.
- Macuahuitl - Hits apply Bleeding for 5 seconds. Repeated hits add up to 5 stacks, with each stack dealing 1 armor-bypassing damage every second.
- Smoking Mirror - Use on a living target to apply Threat III for 8 seconds. Nearby hostile mobs prioritize the highest-level Threat, and players deal 10% more damage to threatened targets.
- Apilolli - Release a rain cloud that follows for 90 seconds, accelerates crops, extinguishes fire, solidifies lava, grants fishing Luck, speeds up bites, grants conduit power, and enables Riptide. Refill the empty jar at source water.
- Xiuhcoatl - Fire a serpent that seeks hostile creatures, deals fire damage, and ignites its target. 8 second cooldown.
- Chimalli - Raise the shield to build momentum. Lower it to surge in the direction you are looking and gain Speed I to III for up to 8 seconds, reaching maximum charge after 3 seconds of blocking.
- Tecpatl of the Fifth Sun - Hold right-click to fire the knife's ten shards in sequence, or Shift-right-click to release every attached shard in a shotgun blast. Once firing ends, the shards return in reverse order and visibly rebuild the knife in your hand.
- Claws of Tepeyollotl - Equip in a Curios charm slot. Grants +1.5 attack damage. Crouch against a wall to cling and crawl, with a 45-degree neutral climbing window. Mining gains +5 speed, equivalent to Efficiency II, and stacks with tool enchantments. The claws can harvest anything a stone pickaxe can.
