Description
NoBlind
NoBlind is a lightweight client-side mod that completely removes the screen overlays and fog distortion caused by the blindness and darkness status effects.
What does it do?
In vanilla Minecraft, the Blindness and Darkness effects severely restrict your vision by rendering a thick fog circle or pulsing the screen to total blackness. This mod stops the client from rendering those specific visual overlays, keeping your screen clear.
NoBlind removes:
- The thick, near-sight fog circle caused by the Blindness effect.
- The pulsing screen-dimming overlay caused by the Darkness effect in the Deep Dark.
NoBlind keeps:
- The actual status effects on the server side (e.g., you still cannot sprint while blinded).
- All other vanilla fog behaviors (like normal biome fog or render distance limits).
