NoBob
NoBob brings back the classic view-bobbing tweak to modern Minecraft!
Clean up your in-game camera by stripping away the constant screen shaking and sway when walking, while still keeping a subtle animation when you begin moving.
A Little Piece of Minecraft History:
"NoBob" was a popular visual tweak in the earlier(ish) days of Minecraft Modding and (probably) made its first appearance around 2012. Over the years, the feature has gotten rarer and rarer to find. This mod brings that original behavior back to modern Minecraft.
Why Not Just Disable View Bobbing in Vanilla?
The answer is simple: keeping the subtle animation makes Minecraft feel more fluid and responsive while eliminating the aggressive sway that causes motion sickness.
Why Use This Mod?
If you dislike vanilla view bobbing but hate how static and lifeless the screen feels with it toggled off, NoBob is the ideal middle ground.
Ideal for Hypixel Skyblock and Other High Walking Speed Environments
If you play Hypixel SkyBlock or any modpacks with high walking speeds, the vanilla view bobbing can be really nauseating. NoBob lets you keep that high speed feeling without giving you motion sickness.
No AI was used to create the mod's code or content. Inline editor code completion was used to write boilerplate.
