Noname's Reactive Boots is a lightweight tech mod for flight and movement in Minecraft. It adds Reactive (Jet) Boots and Rocket Boots — a perfect jetpack alternative that leaves your chestplate slot free!

Types of Boots

1. Reactive (Jet) Boots

An excellent starter gadget for survival. Accessible crafting requires iron, a couple of diamonds, and basic resources.

• Flight Mechanic: Press the V key to fly up a couple of blocks and begin to fall. To keep flying, maintain your altitude and climb higher by rhythmically tapping the V key—the flight control is completely intuitive.
• Great Control: Horizontal speed matches the player's base movement speed. This is an excellent tool for safely crossing lava lakes, deep ravines, and Basalt Deltas.

2. Rocket Boots

A more powerful but dangerous upgraded version of the jet boots. Crafting requires Nether resources.

• High Rocket Power: Much faster vertical takeoff, making it easier to climb high terrain.
• Increased Durability: 2.5 times more durable than standard Jet Boots.
• Stable Cruise: Horizontal speed remains the same as the Jet Boots (matching the player's movement speed).
• Fall Protection: Safe fall height is increased by +6 blocks (serious fall damage begins only from heights above 9 blocks instead of the vanilla 3).

While Rocket Boots are more powerful, they require much more careful handling — such is the price of progress!

• Fire Hazard: Taking off directly from the ground sets the blocks beneath your feet on fire. To take off cleanly without starting a fire, jump first and activate them in mid-air.
• Explosion Risk: Be careful! At 0 durability, they will explode right on you, but only if you are flying at that exact moment.
