Description

Not Enough Rocks! title

Vanilla Minecraft has a vast collection of rocks on its own, Deepslate, Tuff, regular stone and other minerals that are already in the main game. But sometimes a lot is just not enough, so Not Enough Rocks! is here to make exploring the underground of Minecraft far more colorful and interesting.

What is Not Enough Rocks!?

Not Enough Rocks! is an MCreator mod that adds a variety of brand new underground mineral and stone blocks to the Minecraft caves, most of the blocks being real underground minerals that NER characterizes into Minecraft. The list of blocks is very long, and I plan on extending it further down the line. But my favorite ones include Painite, Mica, Jasper and Rosestone.

What is the point of the mod?

Well, NER has two main goals that it tries to accomplish. First, making the overworld caves more interesting. The caves in the Overworld of Minecraft have a large variety of blocks, don't get me wrong, but there is way too much stone, and mining is too boring when 95% of what you find is boring stone. So, NER adds to the variety by adding a bunch of different-colored blocks to make your mining experience a tad more exciting.

Second, NER shines on the block designs. With the stones that you get underground, you can make nice-looking bricks and blocks to decorate your base or just build however you want, and that also extends to stairs, walls, and slabs.

Will more be added in the future?

Yes! I plan to at least add some dungeons made out of NER blocks, adding structures, distinctive functionalities and features to each block, and maybe even mobs and bosses that have some correlation to the minerals in the mod. And obviously, a whole lot of rocks will be added each and every update.
