Description

Not Enough Vanilla is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.14.4 that enhances the game with new features, including a brand new ore called Rubies, along with unique mechanics to obtain and use them. The mod introduces two main ways to get rubies: by mining the rare Ruby Ore or by collecting petals from Ruboid flowers, which can be found in the overworld. These petals can then be processed into rubies using a new crafting machine called the Compressor, made from slabs, a ruby, and glass. Not Enough Vanilla also adds a new, tasty food item called Oranges, which grow on Orange Trees commonly found in the plains biome, offering players a refreshing new way to satisfy their hunger.

With these rubies, players can craft a full set of Ruby Armor, Ruby Tools, and Ruby Blocks for decoration. The mod also introduces a new dimension called Rubon, which can be accessed by crafting a Rubodt and building a portal frame out of Ruby Blocks. Once in Rubon, players can explore the mysterious Rubon Wells, which contain valuable Ruby Blocks that can be collected.

Not Enough Vanilla aims to enrich the Minecraft experience by adding content that feels natural within the game while providing players with new crafting options and exploration opportunities. The mod is designed to offer exciting rewards for those who venture into new areas and try out new crafting methods. While the mod is still in development, regular updates and changes are expected to refine its features and balance.

Created with MCreator due to limited programming experience, Not Enough Vanilla is open to being used in modpacks and is always looking for player feedback and suggestions for future improvements. This mod brings a fresh take on vanilla mechanics, providing new challenges, rewards, and ways to enjoy the game.
