Nova's Survival Tweaks (Discontinued)

Welcome, to my first mod ever well first released mod.

Nova's Survival Tweaks aims to make your minecraft survival just that bit more fun and easier.

THIS MOD IS DISCONTINUED DUE TO A NEW MOD I AM WORKING ON FOR 1.16.5 WHICH IS LIKE THIS BUT WILL BE MORE ENHANCED AND MORE VANILLA FRIENDLY.

What does this mod add?

Well this mod adds a range of minecraft style items, blocks and recipes which you did not think you needed until now

What mods do you recommend with this?

Not a lot just JEI and a mod that allows you to brake End Frames as there is a recipe in the mod that allows you to craft them.

What does this mod do that others do not?

Well this mod does add a bunch of useful stuff but its nothing majorly game changing I mean it could be game changing depending on your point of view but hey that does not really matter what matters is that this mod can be used in many ways. But its soul focus is Survival

So the mod itself consists of many recipes but one of the major things it does do is make Netherrack useful I mean I haven't seen a mod that does yet but I don't really look for useful netherrack mods because its never really occurred to me until now

This mod also adds crafting recipes for Horse Armour, Name Tags, Saddles, Mob Eggs, Mob Spawner and much much more

Hence why I suggest JEI as it will help a lot

Netherrack uses

Netherrack can now be used in recipe's to make stone also its a key component in Netherlite by putting a netherrack in the crafting table you make Netherrack dust then put that into a furnace and smelt it to Netherrack Ingots. You then put 4 Netherrack ingots and 4 gold and 1 diamond in a crafting recipe to make 1 Netherlite Ingot and that is a component to make tools and Armor 1 up from diamond in other words 1.12.2's version of netherite.

Current Update - Food For The Soul (V.5)

Well we all get hungry out there don't we but some foods seem pointless well I haven't changed the foods but I have added some. Here is some information to go off.

Cherries

You will want to find these beauties there found in Roofed Forests and Taiga Biomes as Cherry Bushes brake them and get 2 Cherries

What to do now - You could always eat them as is or strive to look bigger. Nope there not growable but the bushes are craft able with 1 of each seed and 1 leaves. Now you could do 1 of a couple things 1. Make Squashed Cherries with the new glass bowls and Apples get the same treatment. 2. You could cook it to make cooked cherries put that in a jar with sugar and gelatine to make Jam again apples do the same then put it on some bread for Jam sandwiches. Or 3. put them in cookies by making the cookie dough with sugar, wheat, cherries, 2 eggs and Milk then roll it out with a stick and put it in the furnace to cook the cookie.

Sapphire Cherries

Well well cherries with 8 sapphires make Sapphire cherries which turn into the best food in the game well with this mod that is

Burger

Beef and 2 bread make a burger so yummy mmmmm

Couple Of Recipe's Have Been Added

Some recipes have been added like Ender Pearls, Totem Of Undying, Ghast Tears, Gem Of Soulless and More

The Soul Is In

Added some changes to the soul gems (Life/Soulless) basically you can make blocks with them now as well and both have different effects walk on the Gem Of Life Block and get regeneration while standing on it and Stand on Gem Of Soulless and it removes all potion effects like it sucks them off you hmmm Useful.

Also Soulless Gem has a crafting recipe which will need a empty soul a new item which is obtained by smelting a normal soul. Also you will need the new Voodoo Doll which is used to make a totem of undying and a soulless gem.

The power of voodoo Who do? You do

Voodoo Doll is in the mod you make it with Flesh (Which can be made by putting Rotten Flesh, Gelatine and water bottle in a crafting table to make Fresh Flesh then add a soul and the fresh flesh to make Flesh) then some pins (Iron nugget and Ingot) now get some wheat and string then you can make a voodoo doll which can be used for 2 things 1. Recipe for Totem of undying and 2. Gem Of Soulless.

So a question on all your minds is will you port this mod 

Yes I am currently working on a 1.16.5 mod that is a new mod all together which will follow a similar directive to this one but add a lot more to it such as some nice decorative blocks and more items with all new recipe's. When the mod is done I will link it here.
