Obsidian EF Compat

Epic Fight moveset for Obsidian Arsenal's Obsidian Gauntlet. This add-on turns the gauntlet into a full Epic Fight weapon with wild clawing combos, kicks, purple slash VFX, two signature skills and a new dodge.

Requires Obsidian Arsenal and Epic Fight. Forge 1.20.1.

Claw-and-kick combos

Every attack is animated as a wide, wild claw swipe at full arm reach, with the whole body whipping into it. Kicks, spins, leaps and X-slashes are mixed in.

One gauntlet (10 hits):

  1. Huge diagonal rake
  2. Rising backhand into a front kick
  3. Three-rake frenzy
  4. Roundhouse
  5. Spinning rake
  6. Knee into a downward claw
  7. Low sweep into a ground-cracking axe kick
  8. Spinning hook kick
  9. Leaping downward rake
  10. Two-claw X-slash into a double smash

Two gauntlets (10 hits):

  1. Right rake
  2. Left rake
  3. Twin rising rakes
  4. Snap kick
  5. X-slash
  6. Spin rake
  7. Left roundhouse into a rake
  8. Four-claw frenzy
  9. Axe kick into a double smash
  10. Leaping smash into a spin

Kicks hit with the leg itself. Claws use blade hit effects and sounds, and kicks land with heavy blunt hits.

Purple slash VFX

  • Every claw and kick leaves a purple trail.
  • Each strike throws a purple slash crescent along its swing, visible to everyone nearby.

Sprint and air attacks

  • Sprint attack: a driving elbow strike with one gauntlet, or a running shred with two.
  • Air attacks: a diving claw strike with one gauntlet, or a spinning two-claw dive that ends in a slam with two.

Skills

  • Obsidian Impaler (one gauntlet): the claw stretches into an obsidian spike that skewers everything in a line up to about 8.7 blocks ahead.
  • Twin Meteor (two gauntlets): six alternating claw strikes, then a two-handed slam that cracks the ground and knocks enemies down.

Dodge skill: Obsidian Stretch

  • Your body stretches from where you stand to where you dash.
  • The direction comes from your view and the movement keys (WASD). A key pressed just before the dodge still counts.
  • No cooldown and no stamina cost. It works in the air and can chain.

Battle-mode visuals

  • A predator's guard stance with the claws held out, plus livelier walk and run animations.
  • The gauntlet sits correctly on the hand in every Epic Fight pose.
  • Obsidian Arsenal's armor keeps its purple glow and obsidian spikes in battle mode.
