Ogriv's Lamps

A hand-built collection of animated lamp blocks for Minecraft 1.12.2 — made for my own world and shared as-is.

The lamps

  • Ogriv's Lamp — the original. Animated cyan lamp with a one-of-a-kind rainbow rune ring, black trim and obsidian corner diamonds. Full light, obsidian-tough.
  • 16 Rune Lamps — the same design in every dye color: white, orange, magenta, light blue, yellow, lime, pink, gray, light gray, cyan, purple, blue, brown, green, red and black.
  • Elektric_Bloo's Cat Lamp — a cat behind glass. Turns to face you when placed, the sides crackle with animated lightning, and breaking it frees the cat as your tamed pet.
  • Elektric_Bloo's Lava Lamp — an animated lava lamp for your base.
  • Spacers Lamp — the animated end-portal starfield on all six faces.
  • Chrispy's Sky Lamp — a window to the live sky: real sun, moon, stars and the day/night cycle.
  • Ogriv's Eye of Truth — a dragon eye that watches nearby creatures and can fire a targeting laser. Right-click it to choose targets (players, hostiles, passives, other) — it never harms its owner, their tamed pets, or their teammates.
