Description
Olaf's Relatively Placed Blocks
Unofficial NeoForge Port
This is an unofficial port.
This port was originally made for me and my friends because we use NeoForge. I decided to make it available for anyone else who may want to use it as well.
This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original mod author. If you download this version, please remember that it is an unofficial NeoForge port.
I plan to keep this port updated alongside the official mod whenever possible.
4 small blocks, one block space. Mix and match.
Place candles, pots, flowers, chains, fences, and other small blocks in the same block space. Blocks are positioned relative to the direction you're facing.
Main Features
Setup a Hotkey to toggle the Placing
Default is B can be customized in the controls settings.
Share a Space With Small Blocks
Blocks that take up less than a full block can share the same block space. Depending on their size, you can place around 2 to 4 blocks within a single block space.
This works with many types of blocks, including:
- Lanterns
- Pots
- Flowers
- Candles
- Chains
- Fences
- Glass panes
- Iron bars
- Heavy cores
- And many modded blocks
Works With Modded Blocks
The system is based primarily on a block's size and shape, rather than checking for specific blocks by name.
Because of this, it can work with blocks added by other mods without requiring dedicated compatibility support.
Dedicated compatibility mods may still improve behavior for certain modded blocks.
Break Blocks Individually
Blocks sharing the same space can be interacted with individually.
You can:
- Break one block without removing everything in the space
- Add blocks one at a time
- Remove blocks one at a time
- Mix different supported blocks together
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.249
- Client and server compatible
- Works with other mods
- No dedicated compatibility mods are required for basic functionality
Credits
All credit for the original mod and concept goes to the original developer of Olaf's Relatively Placed Blocks.
This project is only an unofficial NeoForge port intended to make the mod available to NeoForge users.
