Description
Reverts the combat system back to the 1.8 style with the following tweaks:
-
No Attack Cooldown: Players have 20 attack speed by default, effectively removing the attack speed feature from the game. Additionally, weapons no longer display the "attack speed" attribute when selected in the inventory.
- Note that the attack indicator may be briefly visible when switching between tools. For this reason, it is recommended that you disable the attack indicator in your video settings while playing on a server (including singleplayer worlds) with this mod.
-
Old Axe Damage: Axes are back to dealing less damage than swords. Each axes deals one less damage than its respective sword, i.e. Diamond Axe deals 6 damage, since Diamond Sword deals 7. This change includes netherite tools.
-
Sword Blocking: You are able to block with your sword once again, by holding right click with it in your main hand. Note that shields are still in the game.
That's all right now! I plan to add more tweaks, like fully removing the sweep particle from the game. Have fun!
