Oma's metalworks — is a technical Minecraft Fabric mod focused on metallurgy, advanced alloys, and industrial-style processing. Expand your survival experience with new resources and high-tier equipment!

Metalworks is a technical expansion for Minecraft Fabric that bridges the gap between basic vanilla survival and advanced metallurgy. This mod introduces a tiered progression system focused on specialized metals, unique alloys, and realistic environmental hazards.

🏗️ Advanced Metallurgy Unlock the potential of new materials found deep within the earth. Metalworks introduces a logical progression path for refining raw ores into high-grade industrial materials.

• Steel Alloys: Master the art of carbon-strengthening to create Steel. It provides a significant upgrade over Iron, offering superior durability and efficiency.
• Heavy Lead: Utilize Lead for specialized applications. While heavy and durable, this metal requires careful handling due to its toxic nature.
• Bronze Crafting: Combine metals to create Bronze, a versatile material for tools and defense.

🧪 Unique Gameplay Mechanics

• Toxicity System: Beware! Handling certain raw materials like Lead can have adverse effects on your health.
• Vanilla+ Integration: Every item and block is designed to feel like it belongs in the base game.
• Custom Shield Durability: I spent over 3 hours trying to implement the shield's durability logic using official Mojang mappings, but couldn't get it to work properly. As a result, I've implemented a custom workaround to ensure the shield breaks as intended. It might look a bit "janky", but it works! Sorry for any extra trouble during the review.

📥 Installation & Requirements

1. Install the Fabric Loader.
2. Download and install Fabric API and Cloth Config API (Required).
3. Drop the Metalworks jar into your mods folder and start forging!
