Description

On Wave - Voice Communication System

⚠️ Early Beta - This mod is currently in beta (v0.3). Features are being actively developed and may change. Please report any issues you encounter!

Transform your Minecraft multiplayer experience with a realistic voice transmission system. On Wave adds microphones, speakers, and wired connections that let you transmit voice audio through physical infrastructure rather than proximity chat.

Features:

  • Microphones - Capture voice within a 5-block radius
  • Speakers - Broadcast received audio to nearby players
  • Wire Connections - Connect devices using Wire Spools to create transmission networks
  • Frequency System - 16 independent channels (0-15) to separate different audio networks
  • Physical Wiring - Wires render in-world with realistic sagging physics

How to Use:

  1. Place a Microphone to capture voice
  2. Place a Speaker where you want audio output
  3. Place a connector
  4. Use a Wire Spool (While press Shift) to connect Microphone to one of the ports on connector (input port)
  5. Use a Wire Spool (While press Shift) to connect Speaker to one of the ports on connector (output port)
  6. open the connector's edit menu by right-clicking on it
  7. connect the ports you connected earlier by first clicking with the left mouse button on the selected port on the left and then on the port on the right to which you connected the speaker (You can remove the connection by first selecting the port on the left and right-clicking on the port you want to disconnect)
  8. Enjoy the sound (It is also worth noting that you can connect multiple connectors in series.) or watch this: https://youtu.be/y1PIIHIXBJU?si=NjdKXfxahAsJQFKI

Requirements:

  • PlasmoVoice

Planned Features:

  • Wireless transmitters and receivers
  • Signal repeaters and hubs
  • Extended range options
  • Redstone integration

Perfect for roleplay servers, radio stations, intercom systems, and creative communication networks!

Note: As this mod is in active development, expect updates and improvements. Your feedback helps shape the future of On Wave!
