One Piece: The Will of Dirt

A note on AI:
Full transparency: I did use Claude AI to help me build this mod. I do know how to code, but I don't have the time to do it myself, and couldn't even start to do the design/effects side of it. I always wanted a One Piece mod, and I know there are a few, but they were never quite how I pictured. So I decided to try my hand at it this way. I'm not a fan of AI either, nor do I condone using it to make full games. However, this is a fan-made mod, I'm not making a dime off of this, it's simply a passion project. If you still choose to boycott it after that, then fair enough. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy.

⚠️ Early Alpha: Testers Wanted!

This mod is in very early alpha. There aren't many gameplay mechanics yet, so expect bugs, missing features and things that change between versions. Back up your worlds.

I'm looking for people to test it and tell me what they'd want to see. Every bug report and idea helps shape where the mod goes next.

🏝️ About

Set sail in a Minecraft world built around One Piece. Pick your race, eat a Devil Fruit, train your Haki, build your own ship and form a crew, then head for the Red Line and the Grand Line beyond it.

✨ Features

🌊 The World

• An ocean world split into the four Blues (North, East, West and South), with islands spread across the sea.
• Dawn Island:
  • Foosha Village, with Party's Bar and its windmills.
  • Mt. Colubo, with Dadan's hideout and the treehouse.
  • The Gray Terminal.
  • The Goa Kingdom, with its great gate, High Town, the Royal Palace and the harbour pier with its lighthouse.
• The Red Line and Reverse Mountain, leading to the Grand Line, a dimension of its own, and Twin Capes, where Laboon waits. (Unfinished)

🧬 Races

Seven races, each with its own strengths and look: Human, Fish-Man, Mink, Skypiean, Longarm, Longleg and Three-Eye.

• Minks choose their animal, use Electro, and go Sulong under the full moon.
• Three-Eyes can awaken the Voice of All Things.

🍎 Devil Fruits

• One of each fruit per world. Find it, eat it and master it. Eating a second fruit kills you.
• Fruit users sink in the sea.
• The Gum-Gum Fruit comes with its attacks and Gears.

👊 Haki

• Observation, Armament and Conqueror's Haki, unlocked by training and levelled by use.

⛵ Ships & Crews

• Build a ship out of any blocks, put a wheel on it and sail it as one piece.
• Sails make your ship faster, and you can add a crow's nest and cargo.
• Paint your own Jolly Roger and fly it from your sails.
• Form a crew with titles (First Mate, Navigator, Cook and more), alliances and enemies.

📜 Profiles & Bounties

• Choose Pirate, Marine or Revolutionary.
• Earn a bounty and get your own wanted poster.

🏘️ Living Towns

• Villagers fill the towns: they walk the streets, open doors, sit in chairs and go about their day.
• Key characters talk to you, like Dadan at her hideout.

🎵 Extras

• A custom One Piece title screen, with the theme playing.
• A Binks' Sake music disc.
• Weapons, a blacksmith forge, windmills, Log Poses and more.
• Copyrighted music can be turned off with /gamerule onepieceCopyrightMusic false.

📦 Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• NeoForge 21.1 (built on 21.1.256)
• No other mods required.

🔧 Installation

1. Install NeoForge 21.1 for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Drop onepiecetwod-0.1.0-alpha.jar into your mods folder.
3. Create a new world to get the One Piece ocean world.

🧩 Compatibility

Built to work alongside most popular mods, including JEI, Sodium and Iris. If something conflicts, please report it! I'd like this to work with most mods out there giving the freedom to use this where people would like.
