Turn Mine Piece into a massive, connected One Piece world!

One Piece World Like replaces the normal Overworld with an ocean-focused world inspired by the geography and journeys of One Piece.

Choose your sea, sail between hundreds of destinations, enter the Grand Line through Reverse Mountain, survive the Calm Belts, cross the Red Line and discover famous locations throughout Paradise and the New World.

🌎 A Complete One Piece World

The world contains 194 named destinations:

• 🏝️ 169 canonical One Piece destinations
• 🗺️ 39 complete maps imported from the One Piece World Project
• 🧭 130 additional canonical islands recreated by the mod
• ⛵ 25 smaller procedural islands for exploration and adventure

The 39 imported locations preserve their original builds while becoming part of one large and fully connected world.

🧭 One Piece Geography

The world is divided into recognizable regions:

• 🌅 East Blue
• ❄️ North Blue
• 🌴 South Blue
• 🌊 West Blue
• 🏴‍☠️ Paradise
• ⚔️ New World
• 🐉 The Calm Belts
• 🏔️ The Red Line
• ☁️ Sky islands
• 🫧 Sea-floor destinations

The default playable area measures approximately 128,000 × 96,000 blocks, with rounded corners and a world designed around long-distance sailing.

When you cross certain edges of the map, you are transported to the opposite side. This creates a globe-like world instead of ending your voyage at an invisible wall.

🏡 Starter Islands

New players receive a permanent starter island assignment.

On multiplayer servers, players are distributed as evenly as possible between:

• 🌅 Dawn Island — East Blue
• ❄️ Lvneel Kingdom — North Blue
• 🌴 Baterilla — South Blue
• 📚 Ohara — West Blue

In singleplayer, the first player normally begins on Dawn Island.

If you die without a valid bed or respawn point, you return to your assigned starter island.

🧭 Mine Piece Navigation Compasses

This edition uses the progression compasses provided by Mine Piece.

When Mine Piece rewards its regional compasses, One Piece World Like changes their targets so they point toward real destinations in this world:

• 🏝️ Sabaody Archipelago for the Grand Line
• 🏔️ Mariejois for the Red Line
• 🌋 Punk Hazard for the New World
• 🌅 Dawn Island for East Blue
• 📚 Ohara for West Blue
• ❄️ Lvneel Kingdom for North Blue
• 🌴 Baterilla for South Blue

These are real directional compasses connected to the actual positions of the islands.

This Mine Piece edition does not use the custom Log Pose mission screen found in the Mine Mine no Mi edition.

🌊 Reverse Mountain

Reverse Mountain is a real part of the world instead of a decorative landmark.

It contains navigable water channels connecting the Four Blues to the Grand Line. Boats receive assistance while climbing the mountain, making it possible to follow the intended sailing route.

Fighting Fish and other dangerous creatures can appear around the channels, so entering the Grand Line may not be peaceful.

🏔️ The Red Line

The Red Line is a physical mountain range dividing the world.

Reaching its highest areas requires Adept Armament Haki. Players without enough Armament mastery are pushed away from the upper Red Line.

Mariejois is located on the opposite Red Line and has a stronger World Government presence, including Celestial Dragons and other Mine Piece NPCs.

The four great bridges are also represented:

• 🌉 Rum Wolf
• 🌉 Bourbon Wolf
• 🌉 Vodka Wolf

🐉 The Calm Belts

The Calm Belts are some of the most dangerous waters in the world.

Inside a Calm Belt:

• 🐌 Players receive Slowness
• 💥 Swimming causes continuous damage
• 🌪️ Flying players are pulled toward the ocean
• 🐉 Sea Kings can appear around travelers
• 🚤 Ordinary boats and small ships are quickly destroyed

Reverse Mountain channels are excluded from these hazards, making them the safe and intended way to enter the Grand Line.

Kairoseki boat coating is not currently available through Mine Piece. In this edition, players should use Reverse Mountain instead of attempting to cross the Calm Belt with a normal boat.

☁️ Special Islands and Travel Mechanics

Several destinations have unique terrain or travel mechanics:

• ☁️ Skypiea is reached through a functional Knock Up Stream.
• 🫧 Fish-Man Island is located below the opposite Red Line.
• 🌊 An underwater current carries travelers toward Fish-Man Island.
• ♨️ A hot stream returns travelers from Fish-Man Island to the surface.
• 🐘 Zou is built on the back of Zunesha.
• 🏯 Wano Country includes its elevated landscape and nearby Onigashima.
• 🌋 Punk Hazard has volcanic and frozen environments.
• 🍰 Whole Cake Island uses a candy-inspired landscape.
• 🌳 Sabaody Archipelago features its mangrove and bubble environment.
• 👻 Thriller Bark has its own dark and hostile atmosphere.
• 🔒 Impel Down is a protected progression destination.
• 👑 Laugh Tale waits near the end of the New World route.

👹 Mine Piece Boss Encounters

A large selection of Mine Piece bosses can appear throughout the islands.

By default:

• ⏱️ The world attempts to introduce a new boss every 10 minutes.
• 🏝️ Bosses spawn on or near islands currently being explored.
• 🧭 Important characters prefer locations connected to them.
• 📢 The server announces the boss, island and coordinates.
• 💾 Spawned bosses are persistent.
• ♻️ Each registered boss is introduced only once per world.

Examples include Marines, Admirals, Emperors, Warlords, pirates, CP agents, Seraphim and characters connected to East Blue, Alabasta, Skypiea, Enies Lobby, Marineford, Wano, Whole Cake Island and other arcs.

Bosses from supported optional Mine Piece addons may also join the spawn pool.

Server owners can change the interval with:

/gamerule opworldlikeMinePieceBossSpawnMinutes 10

Use 0 to disable automatic boss spawning.

Grand Line and New World locations can provide better bonus loot than the Four Blues.

🔥 Nether and End Access

Normal Nether portals cannot be created freely throughout the One Piece Overworld.

• 🔥 The Nether can only be accessed from Infernal Island in South Blue.
• 🐉 The End can only be accessed through the dungeon on End Island in North Blue.
• ↩️ Returning from these dimensions sends you back to the matching island.

The Mine Piece edition currently uses location-based access and does not add an extra Doriki requirement to these gateways.

🎒 Keep Inventory

The Mine Piece edition respects Minecraft's normal Keep Inventory gamerule.

The mod does not force Keep Inventory on or off and does not use the regional death system from the Mine Mine no Mi edition.

To keep your inventory after death, use:

/gamerule keepInventory true

To restore normal item drops:

/gamerule keepInventory false

In singleplayer, cheats must be enabled to use the command. If cheats were disabled when the world was created, you can temporarily open the world to LAN with cheats enabled.

On a dedicated server, run the command through the server console or as an operator.

Important for version 1.5.0

The island claim and crew-conquest system is not enabled in the current Mine Piece build.

Mine Piece's own player progression and crew-related content can still be used, but /island ownership, territory flags and dominion bonuses from the Mine Mine no Mi edition are not active here.

🎮 Singleplayer Setup

When creating a new world:

1. Select Create New World
2. Open the world settings
3. Find the World Type option
4. Select One Piece World Like
5. Create the world and begin your adventure

The world type must be selected before the Overworld is generated.

🖥️ Dedicated Server Setup

Install One Piece World Like and Mine Piece on the server and on every player's client.

Open server.properties and use:

level-type=opworldlike\:one_piece
generator-settings={}

The custom world type only takes effect when a new Overworld is created.

If your server already has a world:

1. Stop the server.
2. Make a backup.
3. Change level-name to a new folder name or move the existing world.
4. Set the custom level-type.
5. Start the server again.

Changing level-type does not convert an existing Minecraft world.

The 39 imported island maps are installed only when the new world's region folder is empty. Existing world regions are never overwritten.

⚙️ World Configuration

The default map is designed around a 128,000 × 96,000-block playable area with rounded corners.

Advanced users and server owners can find the layout settings in:

config/opworldlike/world-layout.toml

The default layout is recommended because the canonical islands, ocean corridors, Red Line, Calm Belts and imported maps were positioned and validated for this size.
