Onechunk Odyssey

Onechunk Odyssey is a Fabric survival challenge mod where your world begins as a single playable chunk surrounded by void. To expand, you complete quests, earn Chunk Expanders, and choose exactly which neighboring chunks become part of your world.

Instead of using a simple world border, the mod turns unopened chunks into empty space and restores them when you unlock them. Every expansion is a real choice: push toward resources, make room for builds, or open a safer path forward.

Features

• Start from one playable chunk around world spawn.

• Hold a Chunk Expander and right-click a locked neighboring chunk to open it.
• Progress through a main questline with mining, crafting, farming, combat, exploration, and Nether goals.
• Get 5 daily quests each Minecraft day for extra expansion chances.
• Earn extra chunks from selected major vanilla advancements.
• Defeat the Ender Dragon to complete the challenge and open the full world.
• Play solo or in multiplayer with shared world progress.
• Use commands to check status, view quests, reload config, reset progress, or manage chunks.
• Progress is saved per world/server.

Multiplayer

Onechunk Odyssey supports dedicated servers and multiplayer worlds. Quest progress, daily quests, opened chunks, and challenge completion are shared by everyone on the server, making it best suited for cooperative survival.

Notes

This mod is best played on a fresh world. The first public release focuses on a stable survival challenge experience without custom blocks, custom mobs, GUI screens, or complex reward systems.
