About the mod

Orbital Strike Cannon is a Fabric mod for Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 that lets you call down a massive orbital bombardment using a special fishing rod.

Each strike releases exactly 5,200 TNT around the selected target. Before the bombardment begins, a warning sequence marks the target with a beam of light, a shrinking circle and warning sounds.

The weapon uses a fishing rod with only 1 durability point, meaning each rod can be used for a single strike before breaking.

Commands

All commands use the /orbitalstrike prefix.

Command Description
/orbitalstrike remote Gives you the Orbital Strike fishing rod.
/orbitalstrike Strikes the block you are looking at.
/orbitalstrike at <x> <y> <z> Targets specific coordinates.
/orbitalstrike here Targets the location beneath your feet.
/orbitalstrike cancel Cancels a strike during its countdown.

Every strike uses exactly 5,200 TNT. The amount cannot be changed.

How to use

Run /orbitalstrike remote to obtain the fishing rod. Aim at a block and right-click to launch a strike at your target.

A short warning sequence begins before the TNT bombardment. Once the strike has been activated, the fishing rod breaks and cannot be reused.

You can also use the commands to target specific coordinates or the location beneath your feet.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.3

  • Fabric Loader

  • Fabric API

Make sure you have compatible versions of Fabric Loader and Fabric API installed.

Performance warning

A bombardment involving 5,200 TNT can cause significant lag, temporary freezes or crashes, depending on your hardware and server configuration.

Back up your world before using the mod, as the explosions can cause extensive damage to your surroundings.

Use caution when running the mod on multiplayer servers.
