sources growing by 1 stage per day. max stage: 3.
mining infinity ore source
Breaking a source block in survival drops ores, and downgrades it by 1 stage. The block is unbreakable at stage 0.
advantages
Ore sources can grow even when the chunk is not loaded! But they update with random ticks
