Description

Organically Mod - by Eravern

the mod adds new blocks, items, mobs and features to the world, future planned content includes new structures, new additions to old systems and even a possible boss fight.

Will there be a neoforge version?

a neoforge version of the mod is planned, but for now, the mod is compatible with Sinytra Connector (install the neoforge version of Lithostithed as compat for the mod)

NEW CONTENT:

  • Palm Wood Set:

deriving from the new palm tree, found in beaches

  • palm tree and coconuts:

palm trees are found in beaches, they grow coconuts from the top of their trunks, which can be harvested when mature, placed down for decoration, placed on sand to have them grow into sprouted coconuts (the tree's saplings), or split using an axe, to obtain coconut slices, the palm crown, found at the top of the tree and the part that grows coconuts, can be sheared into a palm log to obtain palm salad, coconut slices can be crafted into coconut lamps.

  • sea rock stone set:

sea rock can be found under the form of rocks, on the sea floor or the beach, or in the form of giant sea pillars that stretch from the bottom of the ocean to the top mollusks can also commonly grow on it (mollusks, alongside scallops and antarctic scallops, can be crafted into bone meal, fed to turtles or crafted into sea farer's chow, a new food item, alongside just being used decoratively), sea rock can be used to craft a new stone set, complete with polished variants, brick variants and chiselled variants, sea rock can be crafted with 2 mollusks and 2 cobblestone.

  • desert rose and mesa rose:

rarely, in deserts and mesas, you may find small pillars of desert and mesa rose clusters, from these clusters a new material grows: desert rose, one of the rarest block sets in the game, it is an essential ingredient in crafting the sandstrider boots, and can be farmed from naturally spawning clusters, which constantly grow clusters on them, but remember to not break them, as only naturally spawning blocks can grow new clusters, and the only way to activate a player placed block, is by using active powder.

  • fossils and trowel:

in deserts, you can now find desert fossil formations, deep clumps of sandstone, fossil clumps and bones with a small part exposed to the surface, the fossil clumps can be harvested with a pickaxe to obtain bone meal, or with a trowel (new brushlike tool crafted with one stick, one copper ingot and one iron ingot), to obtain bones, uncommonly fossils and rarely a gnawer egg.

  • desert plants:

in deserts, you may now find triodia (desert grass), barrel cacti, desert marigolds and brittlebushes, in woodland mesas you may also find desert shaggy mane, a new mushroom, which can be cooked into roasted desert shaggy mane, in savannas you may also find snake plants and saltbushes.

  • new biomes:

the mod also adds new biomes, one of which is the arid plains, which replaces plain biomes in warm and arid spots, it is distinguished by a much drier leaves and grass tint, along with a being striped by course dirt and sand.

  • new mobs:

Lionfish: new fish found in warm oceans, it drops a new food item (lionfish) and a new projectile: the lionfish spike, lionfish spikes can be shot with bows and crossbows to inflict the electrified effect (also inflicted by the lionfish when a player bumps into it), which damages a mob when wet (under the rain, touching water, etc.), if a player holding a water bottle shift right-clicks while also holding a lionfish spike in their offhand, the water bottle will turn into an electrified bottle, which inflicts electrified on the player.

Sandstrider: new hostile mob spawning in deserts and mesas at night, it quickly charges at the player and tries to bite them, when hit, they may rarely drop a sandstrider scale, used to craft sandstrider boots, a new armor piece crafted with sandstrider scales, rabbit hide and a desert/mesa rose, it allows the player to gain speed when sprinting on sand blocks.

Gnawer: new ancient mob deriving from gnawer eggs, it can gnaw on certain items to obtain other resources when it is done chewing (feeding it bones will yield slime balls or fluorescent mucus, feeding it fossils will yield calcium), fluorescent mucus crafts into a new fluorescent mucus block, which glows when touched, also giving the mob the glowing effect, it can also smelt into glowstone or turn ink sacs into glowing ink sacs. Calcium can be used to craft calcite, dripstone and active powder, used to turn desert rose cluster blocks into active desert rose cluster blocks, which can grow new clusters, this item will be given more uses in the future.

  • farmer's delight compat:

Some of the mod's recipes are now compatible with farmer's delight workstations and new food items and meals will be added when farmer's delight is installed.
