Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Includes a large focus on traversing worlds with enhanced world generation, structures, dungeons, and more for players to find unique loot.
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

About
Description
rinse and repeat, ad infinitum.
disclaimer:
this pack is made for -> fabric 1.20.1 <- so it probably won't work so well on forge or on other versions.
Impact: 🟡 🟡 ⚫ (2)
Gameplay differs somewhat, but maintains a vanilla-esque feel.
Scaling: Traditional, based on equipment.
Abilities:
Endless Recursion ♾️
Respawn instantly on death and retain XP. Dying in this way won't end Hardcore runs.
Falling, Forever: You will still die normally if you fall into the void.
Languished Existence: You receive 80% less healing and don't regenerate from hunger.
Twinned Souls ☯️
Swap between The Cynic (🔥) and The Nihilist (👁️) each time you respawn.
Cynicism: You take and deal more damage when you are healthy, and less when you are injured.
- Dim Light and Isolating slowly heals you over time.
(Staying away from other mobs and players.)
Nihilism: You take and deal more damage when you are injured, and less when you are healthy.
- Dim Light and Ruminating slowly heals you over time.
(Standing still frequently or remaining near your spawn point.)
Defragmentation 🔎
Hold the Primary key to recall to your spawn point.
Memory Shards: Press
Secondaryto bind an item to you at the cost of one heart.
- Bound items persist through death, but become unbound when you respawn.
- Shulker Boxes and Bundles cost 5 hearts and 3 hearts to bind, respectively.
Spirit Sigil: Binding a Soul Torch allows you to set a temporary spawn point where you place it.
- A temporary spawn point alters your next respawn only.
(You can only have one temporary spawn point at a time.)
Shapemeld ⚗️
Armor fuses with your body, granting additional Max Health.
Entanglement: Armor points no longer reduce incoming damage.
Dulled Palate: Food items are less satiating, and no longer apply secondary effects.
- Despite this, Golden Apples are capable of restoring lost Max Health.
Harbinger ⚖️
Your projectiles deal very little damage but apply Grim Omen on hit.
Grim Omen: Based on your current soul, the target either deals less damage (Cynicism) or takes more damage (Nihilism), scaling with your health and missing health.
- Omen strength increases as your Max Health decreases, and decreases as it increases.
- An Omen is typically strongest when you're at half health.
Reaper's Toll: A creature marked with Grim Omen has a chance to drop soul sand when slain.
- If the creature had at least 5 hearts, you also heal for 1 heart.
Additional Information:
Eye Spy 🧿
- Spawnpoint markers are visible to players in Creative mode for debugging purposes.
Known Issues:
- Recall progress can be hampered by lag.
- Recursion is sometimes incompatible with body health mods (i am not sure why it only bugs out sometimes but not other times).
If the 'You Died' screen shows up and clicking 'respawn' doesn't respawn you, clicking the first "exit to menu" before it prompts you if you're sure, then clicking respawn seems to work. This does make your model bug out and look like a corpse until you relog though, so that's strange, but it doesn't count as a death in the Statistics menu, so uhh... yay?
