Quality-of-life fixes for the Druid class in the Otherworld RPG Modpack: Wild Shape armor no longer clutters your inventory, and forms are picked from a slick radial menu instead of the default list.

Otherworld Druid Tweaks
Small, focused fixes and quality-of-life tweaks for the Druid experience in the Otherworld RPG Modpack, built on top of Otherworld Origins.
This is not a new feature mod — it's a set of surgical patches to smooth out rough edges in Wild Shape while leaving every other rule from Otherworld Origins untouched.
What it does
🛡️ Armor stays out of your inventory Previously, worn armor got dumped into your inventory every time you shapeshifted
(and could spill onto the ground if your inventory was full). Now: - Your armor leaves your body the instant you transform and is stored safely, surviving death, dimension changes, relogs and server restarts.
- The moment you turn back human, it's put right back on — no more digging through your bags after every transformation.
- Dying while shapeshifted still drops your armor normally (or keeps it safe
with
keepInventory), exactly like vanilla equipment.
You still can't equip armor while shapeshifted — that Otherworld Origins rule is fully preserved.
🎡 Radial form picker
The Wild Shape selection screen is replaced with a clean radial menu, similar to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks:
- Six forms per page by default (configurable, 2–12), with the mouse wheel to flip pages.
- Each wedge renders the actual creature model for that form, not a generic icon.
- Shows how many transformations you have left, right in the menu.
- Escape/the Wild Shape key safely backs out without wasting a charge.
No Wild Shape rules are reimplemented — this only swaps the UI. Form availability, selection logic and network sync all go through Otherworld Origins itself.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4+
- Otherworld Origins + Otherworld Core
- Install on both client and server for full functionality (the armor fix runs server-side, the radial menu is client-side)
Configuration
owdruidtweaks-common.toml:
formsPerPage— how many forms are shown per radial page (default 6, range 2–12)
