Owl's Antics

This mod adds many things to the game, from simple blocks to whole new dimensions! Here's a full list of everything added so far...

Warning: there will be no more updates to this mod. 

Blocks

- Polished Tuff! Looks so much smoother. There are slabs and stairs as well.

- New Bricks! Ice Bricks, Snow Bricks, Calcite Bricks and Tuff Bricks. Calcite and Tuff Bricks have slabs, stairs, and walls.

- Asphalt! Makes you run faster. Crafted using various natural, easy to come by blocks.

- Pyrite, Moonglint, Cobalt and Hollow Iron Ore! Found in the Overworld, the End and the Hollow Expanse, respectively.

- Block of Pyrite, Moonglint and Cobalt! Blocks of the previously mentioned new ores.

- Bamboo Block! A block... made of bamboo.

- Geode! A block that generates in ruins. Mining it with a strong pickaxe releases a bunch of goodies.

- Rope! Finally, there's a way to go up or down without using ladders. And you can MLG with it!

- Acid! A liquid found in the Hollow Expanse. It hurts just to touch it though. Cool thing is, while it burns mobs and players, it won't burn items, making it perfect for farms.

- Hollow Rock and Hollow Grass! Found in the Hollow Expanse as well. You must have at least a Diamond Pickaxe to mine it, so it is pretty tough and will survive explosions well.

- Palm and Ebon logs, leaves, planks, slabs, stairs, doors, trapdoors, buttons, pressure plates, fences and fence gates! That's surely enough stuff to build with! Palm Wood generates in desert oasis and Ebon wood, in the Hollow Expanse.

- Red, Green, Purple and White Sea Lanterns! Crafted by dying sea lanterns, they are just colored lights that look pretty good in many types of buildings. However, please note these will get removed when froglights will be added because of how similar they are.

- Steel Columns and Beams! The columns are full blocks while the beams use the end rod’s model. Crafted using steel scraps.

- Fiery Wart Block! A block of Fiery Warts.

- Frozen Sand, Sandstone and Smooth Sandstone! Spawns in the Polar Desert, and also craftable.

Items

- Pyrite, Moonglint and Cobalt Chunks! Smelt them to make their respective ingots..

- Pyrite, Moonglint and Cobalt Ingots! Used to make various tools and weapons. Cobalt Ingots can be blasted to make diamond nuggets.

- Reinforced Quartz! Crafted similarly to netherite ingots but using gold nuggets and quartz instead. Used to craft the new quartz tools.

- Cobalt and Diamond Nuggets! Cobalt Nuggets can drop from Hollowed, making diamonds renewable. Finally!

- Fiery Warts! Crafted using nether warts, magma cream and blaze powder.

Plants

- Amethystium! A rare flower that drops an amethyst shard. It can be crafted back into a flower using amethyst and seeds.

- Palm and Ebon Saplings! You can grow them into their full trees by waiting or with bonemeal, much like vanilla saplings. (However, there is only one tree "model" for now for each sapling. I'll add more in the future!)

Comestibles

- Juices! This is the idea that made the mod start. Four kinds of juices exist: Apple, Berry, Nether, and End Juices. Each is progressively better and better. They drink very quickly, making it a must for PvP.

- Fruit Brochette! A food crafted using the fruits of Minecraft, namely apples and sweet berries. They should add more fruits. *sigh*

- Coconut! A fruit... is a coconut a fruit? It drops from palm trees. You can make milk with it if you want, or eat it like it is. Your choice.

- Fiery Potions! These give you Strength III, but only if you are in the Nether. Or else, you will burn! They are brewed using Fiery Warts.

Weapons and Tools

- Pyrite Broadsword! A strong but fragile sword.

- Copper and Moonglint Katana! Quick swords to use in a pinch. Copper is weak and Moonglint is strong, of course.

- Blaze Blade! That name sounds cool, but in reality it's really hot! It burns mobs you hit. No more need for cooking your own steak when this blade can do it for you!

- Moonglint Pickaxe! We sure had to wait long for the diamond pickaxe to get dethroned, but Netherite won't! It's stronger than any other pickaxes you've used.

- Hollow Baton! Used to activate the portal to the Hollow Expanse. Exciting!

- Obsidian Crusher! A heavy weapon that deals a lot of knockback.

- A full set of Quartz Tools! They are the same as iron tools, but last twice as long. Crafted using the respective iron tool and reinforced quartz on a smithing table.

Armor

- Copper Armor! An armor suit made of copper and amethyst shards. Finally a use for copper!

- Magic Feather Cap! A helmet that makes you fall slowly. Farewell, water bucket! You won't be missed!

- Amethyst Necklace! A necklace that makes you run pretty quick. How does a necklace do that? No idea.

-Enhanced Amethyst Necklace! The same necklace, but with more speed. Craft it by surrounding the original necklace with Cobalt Ingots.

- Frog Boots! Boots that make you jump high. It's crafted partially from slime and rabbit feet, so I have no idea why the name is Frog Boots. They are three completely different creatures.

- Enhanced Frog Boots! The same boots, but with more jump power. Craft it by surrounding the original boots with Cobalt Ingots.

Recipes

- Various recipes for vanilla items have been added! These include saddles, totems of undying, name tags, grass, mycelium, podzol, the horse armors, and the legendary Notch Apple! (Or Enchanted Golden Apple, if you wish.)

Advancements

- Tasty! Drink some apple juice.

- Forbidden Block! Make a Block of Moonglint. Ridiculously expensive!

Mobs

- Hollowed! They spawn in the Hollow Expanse and are quite tough. A true threat!

Structures

(Note: they spawn quite weirdly, so if you have any idea how to fix their spawning behavior, let me know!)

- Ruins! Every mod adds those, so they had to be in here of course! They generate everywhere rarely. (There are currently 3 variants.)

- Ruined Tower! A ruined tower that spawns in forests rarely. They include loot chests and a zombie spawner. Finally, an overworld zombie farm!

- Desert Oasis! An oasis that spawns in the desert and includes water, grass, moss, dripleaf, and most importantly, palm trees!

Biomes

- Hollow Fields! You can find them very commonly in the Hollow Expanse. They are quite flat and include a couple of trees. Hollowed and Skeleton spawn here.

- Hollow Hills! Much more than just tiny hills, they are huge and covered with ice! Skeleton spawn here.

- Hollow Forests! Forests of Ebon Trees.

- Polar Deserts and Polar Desert Hills! These spawn in the overworld near icy biomes. Various animals spawn here, as well as cave spiders during the night. How did they get up there?

Dimensions

- The Hollow Expanse! Many (two) dangerous mobs spawn here. Many (three) biomes appear here. Acid is running everywhere, so watch out! A skeleton might hit you right in. Its portal is made using crying obsidian.

Planned

- Winged Evil! A rare flying mob that rams into you. They will spawn in the Hollow Expanse.

- Nightmare! The boss of the Hollow Expanse. No details yet.

- Some early game boss! Yeah, no name, behavior or any kind of detail yet. 

Unobtainable

These are unobtainable for various reasons, mostly bugs regarding the item. Help would be much appreciated

- One Strike, the dev weapon that deals an insane amount of damage. Will never get implemented.

- Moonglint Bow and Pyrite Spear, which are left out for one reason: I can't get to make models of the things they throw/shoot.

- Silk Pickaxe, which right now is a normal pickaxe. I want it to be able to silk touch blocks without having the enchantment.

- Voidness, a slime-like mob that should spawn in the Hollow Expanse. It drops a Void Orb, but has no AI yet and the texture is glitched.

- Void Orb, the Voidness' drop. It does nothing.

- Burnt Grass, grass that is burnt. I want it to appear when grass is on fire.

- Stripped Palm and Ebon logs, they worked weird so they are now unobtainable.

- Portable Lantern, a lantern you could take with you to make light. Removed because it made the game lag a lot, even on higher end computers.

Achievements

- January 10th 2022: 1.0.0, the First release

- January 27th 2022: 20 downloads! My goal now is 50.

- January 30th 2022: 1.1.0, the Adventure Update!

- February 5th 2022: 1.1.1, a patch of 1.1.0 that fixes some bugs

- March 12th 2022: 50 downloads! It's about time. 100 downloads next, though I doubt it will happen.

- April 25th 2022: got 69 downloads, nice.
