Paint It Black

Paint It Black is a relatively small mod that adds a new biome, potion, late-game tool, and food. it's currently still in development, please give feedback.

INKED FOREST

A new biome, covered in Inked Moss and with Inked Trees throughout. the Inked Trees have the same shape as Savanna trees, but are made of different resources, such as Inked Logs and Leaves. there is a full wood set for this. however, due to its naturally inky nature, it cannot be used to craft crafting tables, boats, or wooden tools.
(yes i know im trying to cover up bugs with lore im sorry)

Main ingredient of the mod: Ink Blots

Ink blots are useless on their own, however i am thinking of giving them more function.
Ink Blots can be obtained by using a new tool, the Debarker, (which can be crafted with 2 inked planks, 2 sticks, and a netherite ingot) on an Inked Log. This will provide you with an ink blot, though i am thinking about adding a 1/3 chance to give 2 ink blots and a 1/9 chance to give 3 ink blots. Ink Blots can be crafted into black dye, but can also be crafted from 2 ink sacs.

Ink Blocks

These can be crafted from 4 Ink Blots and drastically reduce your movement speed, and your jump height.

Inkgot

Obtained by Blast-Furnacing an Ink Block. functionally has one use. Can be placed into a Smoker to turn it back into an ink block.

Ink Bomb

Crafted from 4 Inkgots and a TNT block, when thrown, spreads ink blocks in a 5-block radius in all directions. does not apply to nonsolid blocks.

Ink-Glazed Cookie

A new food that restores 7 hunger and 5.4 saturation, provides Resistance II for 30 sec and Nausea for 15 sec.

Potion of Inking

A new potion, obtained by brewing an Ink Blot into an Awkward Potion. it turns the blocks below you into Ink Blocks.

A griefing mod with many ways to paint your friend's house... black. INKED FOREST: a dark forest with dark logs. barren, yet no mobs spawn. DEBARKER: Late-game axe, but when clicked on an Inked Log, will give Ink Blots. INK BLOTS: main ingredient of the mod. can be used to make... INK BLOCKS: dark blocks that slow you down and reduce your jump. INKGOTS: blast-smelted ink blocks. can be used to make... INK MINES: project a pillar of ink upwards. 20 blocks tall. INK TNT: splatters ink everywhere in a 5-block radius, THE SPLATTERER: splatters ink, similar to the Ink TNT but when you hit a mob with it. INK BOMB: throwable Ink TNT INK SOUP: really good food, made with 6 ink blots and a bowl. however, takes longer to eat. gives resistance 2 and absorption 2 for a short time. gives nausea for a short time. INK-GLAZED COOKIE: easy-to make food which you can eat in half the time. gives resistance and nausea for a short time. excellent for combat.
