About

Description

Bring a piece of prehistory into your Minecraft world with the PaleoPaintings mod! This mod adds 12 new and original paintings inspired by the age of dinosaurs! Whether you're building a cozy cabin, an epic museum, or a dinosaur themed base, PaleoPaintings gives you a fresh way to decorate your world and celebrate Earth's incredible prehistoric past! These paintings integrate directly with the vanilla paintings and can be placed using the vanilla painting item or found in the creative menu.

What mod loaders does this mod work with?
We aim to provide compatibility for all popular mod loaders. Our universal JAR file should be compatible with Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge. You can also load the mod as a datapack if you know how.

Why do some of the dinosaurs have scales instead of feathers?
These paintings are artistic interpretations of prehistoric life, not scientific reconstructions. While our understanding of ancient life continues to evole, PaleoPaintings is focused on creating art that captures the spirit of these creatures in Minecraft's style. Art is subjective, and these designs reflect creative vision rather than scientific consensus.

Can you support Minecraft version X.Y.Z?
Right now we support all versions from Minecraft 21.1.x and onward. The current JAR file will likely already be compatible with future versions of the game. Unfortunately there are no plans to backport the mod to older versions at this time.

Can I use this in my modpack / videos / thumbnails?
Yes, all we ask is that you credit us and link back to the official page when it is releastic to do so.
