About

Description

This mod is mostly just for me.  I was playing with the Create mod and decided to make a city populated by blazes, where the blazes had jobs in blaze burners, and with the addons I had there were different types, but I couldn't have peaceful blazes wandering around.

So I made them myself.

Passive Blazes don't spawn naturally, although I have some plans on how they could be obtainable in survival using the Create mod.  They have 8 rods spinning around them instead of 12, and don't emit smoke.  They are also not constantly making annoying noises.  They don't attack unless provoked, and they don't shoot fireballs no matter what.  They also don't set themselves on fire or fly.  This is because they have chosen to turn all of their heat inward, using it for defense.  If you attack a passive blaze, you will be set on fire.  Additionally, the passive blaze does not take damage from water or rain.  This is mostly because I was afraid of losing the inhabitants of my city because of rain.  Instead, when a passive blaze is in water or rain, it will emit steam particles.  If in water, it will try to pathfind out of the water, but it can't move very fast.  In rain, I can't figure out how to get them to take shelter, so if anyone knows how to do that let me know.

They don't drop anything, so please don't kill them.

Also, they're terrified of snow golems.  The snow golems don't really care about them, but the blazes know what their weaknesses are, and they are in no mood to die.

Future Updates:  Once 1.21 comes out, I plan to add passive breezes as well.  Hence why the mod is called Passive Elementals instead of Passive Blazes.  I really hope mojang adds more elementals, and if that happens, I'll update the mod.
