Description
Pearl Counter — mhv1
See how many ender pearls each nearby player has thrown, directly beside their in-world nametag. Pearl Counter adds a small ender pearl icon and a light-green count after the player’s name.
Features
- Counts distinct ender pearls observed by your client using the owner sent by the server.
- The same pearl is not counted again when it re-enters tracking range.
- A player’s counter resets when their death is observed. All counters reset when leaving or changing worlds.
- Use
/pearlcounter resetto clear all counters locally. - Uses the vanilla ender pearl texture from your active resource pack.
Installation
Requires Minecraft Java 1.21.11, Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer, and Java 21. Put pearl-counter-mhv1.jar in your profile’s mods folder. Fabric API and server installation are not required. Only players with this client mod see the counters.
What the counter can see
This is a client-side observation counter, not a server-wide statistic. Pearls outside tracking range cannot be counted. A previously thrown pearl entering range may be counted when first seen; unresolved owners are skipped. Deaths outside range may not reset a counter. Match endings are not detected automatically. Normal nametag visibility rules apply; TAB and chat are unchanged.
