Description

Don't Wait

I was sick of Mojang changing and breaking so many mods every update. I wanted to play with my modpack but didn't want to wait for the new features.
So this mod asks: "Why not both?"

Unlike many backport mods, this does not aim to backport between major versions (e.g., 1.21 → 1.20).
Instead, it's a minor version backport mod — most mods I personally use are on 1.21.1 or 1.21.4. I don’t think it’s fair to choose between new features and mod compatibility.

Perfect Parity 1.21.5

✨ Feature Parity

✅ Added cold and warm variants for Pig, Cow, and Chicken
✅ Sheep now spawn with biome-dependent wool colors
✅ Added new sound variants for Wolves
✅ Overhauled visuals for each Spawn Egg
✅ Added fallen tree generation
✅ Added Firefly Bush block
✅ Added Leaf Litter block
✅ Added Wildflowers block
✅ Added Bush block
✅ Added Short Dry Grass and Tall Dry Grass blocks
✅ Added Cactus Flower block (can grow on Cactus)
❌ Added new falling leaf particles to Leaves blocks
  – Try Particular Reforged instead — looks better than Mojang’s
✅ New ambient block sounds in Desert and Badlands biomes

BONUS: All mobs, blocks, and items are forward-compatible with 1.21.5 if you update your save!

🧩 Compatibility

✅ Should work with any 1.21.x mods
✅ Compatible with most 1.21.5 resource packs
