Are you tired of your pet dying at your own hands during battle? Or perhaps it accidentally fell into lava and vanished from your world?
We have a solution: upgrades for your pets that grant immunity to various hazards. Are you ready to put in the effort for your beloved companions? :)

As of version 0.1.0-alpha.53, there are 18 ways to protect your pets. These pets can come from either the original Minecraft or other mods.

In the 0.1.0-alpha.53 version, the upgrades are currently available only in Creative mode, within a special Creative tab.

To apply upgrades to your pets, you need to hover your cursor over the pet and press Shift + Right-Click while holding the upgrade item. Applying an upgrade to your pet will be indicated by a text message and a unique effect.

You can get the Umbral Dust by throwing metal powder on Sculk in pitch darkness...

List of improvements for your pets:

Fire Stardust protects your pet from fire and lava.

Blast Ball Run protects your pets from explosions of any kind.

Brightshine prevents fall damage for your pet.

Soft Wet Bubble protects your pet from drowning.

Power Hog absorbs a lightning strike and grants the pet strength and speed without taking damage.

Blueberry Ice will protect your pet from the cold — your kitty won't have to worry about even the harshest frost :)

Iron Shell protects your pet from kinetic damage and projectiles.

Cosmic Coconut protects your pet from magical damage and harmful effects by dispelling them.

Empty Void Corpse — the ancient corpse of an unknown entity that once dwelt beyond the world... It protects your pet from falling into the void of any dimension by teleporting it to its owner.

Spiky Cream protects your pet from damage caused by any weapon or mob.

Experience Requiem is an upgrade that causes your pet to resurrect one minute after death, consuming an amount of your experience proportional to the pet's health. If you lack sufficient experience, the pet loses health instead, down to a minimum of 1 point.

Command Cube is an item available only in Creative mode and it will likely remain exclusive to Creative mode in future updates. This item protects your pet from EVERYTHING (even commands).

Soul Reaper – allows a pet to gain 2 HP upon killing 10 mobs.

Vampiric Essence – when your pet kills monsters, it heals itself.

Silent Paw — the sculk doesn't hear your pet...

Thorns of Agony – 30% of the damage dealt to a pet is returned to the enemy. If combined with Spiky Cream on the same pet, 50% of the damage is returned.

Prism allows you to teleport your pet to your location, provided it is within a 256-block radius.

Magma Runners speeds up your pet and sets fire to any enemies that attack it.

Soul Chain is used to remove all upgrades from a pet.
