Petrified Wood!

petrified_wood_thumbnail

This simple mod adds petrified planks and slabs to every wood type - fixing the petrified oak slab inconsistency. > To craft petrified wood, place cobblestone or blackstone and planks or slabs in a 2x2 checkerboard pattern, with the planks/slabs in the top left and bottom-right.

> These blocks have a darker texture than normal wood planks

> These blocks have a higher blast resistance and are not flammable unlike normal planks and slabs, which makes them a good building material.

Recipes:

Petrified Wood Planks (with blackstone or cobblestone, and any planks):

Petrified Slabs (with any petrified planks):

Overview

This simple mod adds petrified planks and slabs to every wood type.

To craft petrified wood, place cobblestone/blackstone and planks/slabs in a 2x2 checkerboard pattern, with the planks/slabs at the top-left and bottom-right. These blocks have a higher blast resistance and are not flammable in the same way as normal planks and slabs are, which makes them a good building material.
