Lore

The Phoenix was a bird native to the Nether, but it was driven to extinction by the Piglins because they consumed its eggs. They devoured so many that they prevented the rebirth of the very last phoenix; now, its feathers can only be found as remnants inside Piglin treasure chests.

Phoenix Armor

• Crafting: Smithing Table = Netherite Armor + Phoenix Upgrade + Phoenix Feather.

• Base Stats: Same protection and knockback resistance attributes as Netherite armor.

• Durability Nerf: Its initial durability is drastically reduced (Helmet: 122 | Chestplate: 177 | Leggings: 166 | Boots: 144).

• Second Life: Upon breaking, the Phoenix piece doesn't disappear: it turns back into a fully repaired Netherite piece.

• Rebirth Mechanic (Full Set):

• Dying with the full set equipped spawns an egg at your death location from which you respawn (keeping the armor equipped; the rest of your inventory drops).

• Does not override your original spawn point.

• The egg can be hit and moved by other players to alter your respawn location before you revive.

• Stat Scaling per Rebirth: Each time you revive, every piece permanently gains:

• +1 max durability.

• +0.125 max health.
