# Ping Like R2

## Introduction

This is a Neoforge 1.21.1 Mod designed to replicate the pinging functionality from Risk of Rain 2. Developed based on Ping-Wheel.

Ping-Wheel is distributed under the MIT License, and this project continues to adopt the same license.

## Feature Description

### Highlight Display

Entities, BlockEntities, and dropped items will be highlighted when pinged.

### Text Notifications

When a ping is received, a text notification will appear in the chat box showing the details of the ping.

### Icon Rendering

Pings are categorized into three types with corresponding icons.

### Jade Integration

When Jade is installed, pinging will also display information about the pinged object.

Thanks to all the developers of Ping Wheel – it's the best ping mod I've found for newer Minecraft versions!

## Q&A

Q: Will other versions be supported?

A: Due to limited time and energy, I will only ensure that the Neoforge 1.21.1 version is updated in sync with Ping Wheel. Future updates may target newer versions, but there are no plans to backport to older versions.

Q: Why does Ping Wheel use a multi-loader setup, while this mod only supports Neoforge? Why not support Fabric or Forge?

A: I do not prefer Fabric or Forge. If you need versions for those loaders, you can fork this project and build your own. In fact, all modifications are contained in the common package, meaning you can easily adapt it to other loaders – the main potential challenge is integrating with Jade.

Q: Will there be new features in the future?

A: Maybe. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to submit an Issue or discuss them in the community.
