Pixelmon Scouter
No reviews yet
Look at any wild Pokemon or trainer to see their real stats - nature, IVs, moves, drops and more - in a scouter-style HUD, powered entirely by Pixelmon's own data.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Description
![]()
Pixelmon Scouter is a client/server sidemod for Pixelmon that shows a scanner-style HUD overlay when you look at a wild Pokemon, another player's Pokemon, or a trainer NPC. Every value comes straight from Pixelmon's own data - no OCR, no screen-reading, no guessing.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.170
- Pixelmon 9.3.16
Developed and tested using Pixelmon 9.3.16 as run by The Pixelmon Modpack.
Pokemon Scan
Point at any wild or owned Pokemon and press the scan key to open a panel with:
- Scan card - species, level, gender, shiny marker, type(s), held item, and a badge for legendary/mythical/ultra beast/boss Pokemon.
- Analysis card - nature (shown with its actual stat effect, e.g. "Adamant (Atk+ / SpA-)"), ability, average IV%, and current moveset.
- Field Data card - spawn rarity tier, catch difficulty, natural spawn level range, spawn biomes, type weaknesses, known drop table, evolution target and trigger, and boss tier + estimated battle level for boss Pokemon.
Works normally even while you're riding or flying on a Pokemon mount.

Trainer Info
Point the trainer key at an NPC - or another player who has opted in - to see their team as a ball strip (exact levels or a level range), optional species icons, and per-Pokemon mini-cards with ability, held item, type, and moves.

Fully Configurable
Every single piece of information above is its own on/off toggle. Quick presets (Low / Medium / High for Pokemon, Low / Medium / High / Complete for trainers) bulk-apply sensible defaults for that detail level - after that, every box is yours to flip individually. Reachable directly from the main Options menu via a "Pixelmon Scouter Options…" button.
Keybinds
All rebindable from Options -> Controls -> Pixelmon Scouter.
- V - toggle the Pokemon scan overlay
- V - show trainer info (hold or toggle, your choice)
- Delete - clear every open overlay at once
- X (hold) - expand a Field Data card's drop list
Privacy
Other players can only be scanned as a trainer if they turn on "Let Others Scan You" themselves - off by default.
Installation
Install on both the client and the server/host. The mod reads authoritative data (nature, IVs, moveset, team) server-side, so a client-only install will not work correctly in multiplayer.
License
All rights reserved. Free to download, use, and include in any modpack without asking first. Redistributing the jar outside normal modpack inclusion, or modified/derivative source, requires permission from the author.
Support
If you enjoy the mod, consider supporting me on Ko-fi - totally optional, the mod stays free either way.
