About
Description
Genetically Engineered Organisms, or GEOs are a biomechanical species with a four-eyed visor attached to their heads. The GEOs are made by Max The GEO- me, in this case.
GEOs are a biomechanical bunch with mechanical headbands replacing their nonexistent eyes, ears, and nose. The headband's sensors act as all of these organs, and is not only chemically and mechanically fused to their skull, but also directly connected to their brain. This is a high impact origin, so expect some major changes when playing.
+ GEOs are physically hardy, they have 5 more hearts and do 30% more melee damage.
+ GEO skin has special cellular properties that allow for underwater breathing through cutaneous respiration.
+ The artifical photoreceptors ('eyes'), can quickly adjust to different light refractions. Underwater vision is not as impeded.
- Despite their high heat resilience in hotter enviornments like deserts, their skin is quite flammable, taking 100% more damage from fire.
- They also do not fair well in cold enviorments and take 50% more damage from ice based attacks (ie: snowballs & powdered snow)
- Due to their extremely dense build, GEOs are completely incapable of swiming, and sink into water; very quickly. They do not suffer fall damage from 'falling' in water however.
