Player-only Flower Armor is a small client-side Fabric mod designed for players who like the flower-wreath armor aesthetic but still want mobs to retain Minecraft's normal armor appearance.

With this mod installed:

• Players wear flower-wreath armor
• Other players also display flower-wreath armor
• Zombies wear vanilla armor
• Skeletons wear vanilla armor
• Armor stands use vanilla armor
• Other non-player entities retain their original armor appearance

The mod also contains dedicated compatibility for Punchy 2.6.2, so flower armor remains visible when using Punchy's first-person rendering.

Requirements

Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11
Fabric Loader 0.18.4 or newer

Punchy is optional and is not bundled with this mod.

Client-side only

The server does not need to install this mod.

Important

Do not enable the original flower armor resource pack together with this mod. The flower armor textures required by this project are already included.

Flower armor textures are based on Adina's Kit's Cutie Flowers by Adina Caldwell and are used under the BSD 3-Clause License.

Upstream credits also include Kit / Lilette, Poofyfish / Fish, and glazebee.

Player-only Flower Armor is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that changes armor rendering based on who is wearing it.

Players wearing armor will use cute flower-wreath armor visuals, while zombies, skeletons, armor stands, and other non-player entities continue to use Minecraft's normal vanilla armor appearance.

The mod also includes compatibility for Punchy 2.6.2, allowing the flower armor visuals to appear correctly in Punchy's first-person rendering.

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader.
2. Put the mod .jar into your mods folder.
3. Launch Minecraft.
4. Do not enable the original flower armor resource pack at the same time, as the required textures are already included in this mod.
