ENSO Addon for PMW

El Nine brings the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) climate cycle to ProtoManly Weather, adding a long-term global weather system that evolves naturally over time instead of relying on random conditions.

The addon introduces three persistent climate phases:

• Neutral – Default weather behavior.
• El Niño – Warmer conditions, drier regions, and stronger mid-latitude storms.
• La Niña – Cooler conditions, wetter days, and increased cyclone activity.

During El Niño phases, expect a significant increase in both the frequency and intensity of storms. Conditions become more favorable for extreme weather, including stronger thunderstorms, heavier rainfall, and potentially more destructive tornadoes in susceptible regions. The global climate also tends to become noticeably warmer.

During La Niña phases, the world is generally a little cooler. In many regions, weather patterns shift toward milder rainfall, increased cloud cover, and a reduction in global average temperatures compared to El Niño years, although local impacts vary from place to place.
