You need all of these:

• Minecraft 1.21.1 (Fabric)
• Fabric Loader 0.16.5+
• Fabric API (1.21.1 build) — required
• Mod Menu (optional — for the in-game settings button)
• Portal Tier Tagger v1.0.2 ← the mod jar

🛠️ How to Install

1. Install the Fabric loader for 1.21.1.
2. Put Fabric API in your mods folder.
3. Put portaltiertagger-1.0.2.jar in your mods folder.
4. Launch the game and join any server.
5. You'll see [Portal] Loaded N player tiers! in chat — tags are now live ✅

⚠️ Delete any older portaltiertagger jar first so you don't run two copies.

✨ Features

• ⭐ Tier badge above player heads (colored icon + tier, e.g. ⚔ HT3)
• 📋 Tier badge in the tab list
• 💬 Tier badge in chat before player names
• 🎮 8 gamemodes with custom icons: Sword, Mace, SMP, Pot, Vanilla, NethOP, UHC, Axe
• 🎨 Full HT1 → LT5 color scheme (HT1 gold → LT5 dark gray)
• 🏆 Highest-tier mode — show a player's best tier when they have none in your selected mode
• 🔁 Cycle gamemode keybind (set it in Controls)
• ⏱️ Auto-refreshes from the site (default every 30 min)
• 🧩 Toggle each location (head / tab / chat) on or off

🕹️ Commands

• /portaltier — toggle tags on/off
• /portaltier refresh — force re-fetch from the site
• /portaltier gamemode <mode> — pick which gamemode's tier to show
• /portaltier player <name> — print someone's full tier list
• /portaltier config — open settings

⚙️ Settings

Open via Mod Menu or /portaltier config. You can change the displayed gamemode, toggle icons/tab/chat/nametag, switch bracket style [HT3], set the refresh interval, and more.

🔑 How tiers are decided

Tiers are earned on the website (reviewed tier tests) — the mod only displays them. It looks you up by your Minecraft username on our rankings page. No username on the site = no tag.

🟢 Cracked / Offline support

Yes — fully supported. The mod matches by username only (no Mojang login / no UUID), so it works on cracked and offline servers exactly the same.

❓ Troubleshooting

• No tags showing? Run /portaltier refresh and wait a few seconds for Loaded N player tiers!
• Still nothing? Make sure Fabric API is installed and you're on 1.21.1.
• On Pojav/Android? v1.0.2 already fixes the Android DNS issue — just make sure you're on 1.0.2, not an older build.
• Your tier missing? You need to be tier-tested on the website first.
