About

Description

Heavily WIP, Currently mod is restricted to Forge 1.20.1 to Neoforge 1.21.1 due to early work progress.

PortKit is a Loader Library, it will not appear in the mod list whatsoever, PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS OR ELSE IT WILL NOT WORK!

Patches for v0.3:
Guis should now work correctly, and there should be more successful ports. I also fixed some bugs with geckolib, so mods that use it should work correctly now. There might be a problem with projectile cooldowns right now, so use with caution. As always, if you want to see your favorite mods get support from this mod, leave a comment.

How to use PortKit

After installing, launch the game once to let it generate its dedicated folder.
To add the mods you want ported, open the portkit folder and find inbox, then paste in your mod jars in there. As of 9/17/26, make sure it is a forge 1.20.1 jar only. TLDR, Place mods in portkit/inbox inside your game instances folder, it should be right next to the mod folder.

DISCLAIMER!!!!
Ports are NOT guaranteed to work, and there is a 90% chance they will contain errors due to how WIP PortKit is at this time. If porting a mod fails, feel free to leave a comment telling me what mods you tried to have ported and I will try to release a patch covering its problems in the next release
If the loading screen freezes, dont worry, its likely not a problem. PortKit will stop mods that produce excessive errors from being ported and crashing your game.

COPYRIGHT WARNING!!!
DO NOT, AND I MEAN, DO NOT SHARE PORTED JARS! I am not responsible for any breaking of copyright law or illegal distribution of modified mod files.

If you want your mod blacklisted from PortKit, Leave a comment and I will take action towards blacklisting it. (By blacklisting I mean PortKit will automatically refuse to port it next release.)
