RinProfessions

📌 Overview

RinProfessions adds a complete and in-depth professions system to the game.
Players can choose a main profession, level up through gameplay, unlock perks, complete quests, and progress through multiple specializations.

Designed for Fabric, this mod focuses on long-term progression, balance, and roleplay-friendly mechanics.


⚙️ Features

🔹 4 Main Professions

  • Miner – Gain XP by mining stone and ores
  • Farmer – Gain XP by harvesting crops and breeding animals
  • Hunter – Gain XP by killing mobs and fishing
  • Artisan – Gain XP by crafting and smelting items

🔹 7 Ways to Earn XP

  • Mining blocks
  • Harvesting crops
  • Killing mobs
  • Crafting items
  • Smelting in furnaces
  • Breeding animals
  • Fishing

🔹 Leveling System

  • Choose a main profession (XP bonus x1.5)
  • Secondary professions level up more slowly (x0.5 XP)
  • Unlock perks at specific levels

🔹 12 Specializations (Disciplines)

Each profession has 3 unique specializations:

  • Miner: Prospector, Excavator, Gemologist
  • Farmer: Botanist, Breeder, Brewer
  • Hunter: Tracker, Slayer, Tamer
  • Artisan: Blacksmith, Engineer, Enchanter

🔹 Active Perks (Examples)

  • Miner – Level 5: Night vision in caves
  • Farmer – Level 5: 10% chance to double crop drops
  • Hunter – Level 5: 10% chance to receive rare bonus loot
  • Artisan – Level 5: Enhanced crafting information

🔹 Quest System

  • Up to 3 active quests at the same time
  • Rewards include XP and currency
  • Over 20 different quest types

🔹 Integrated Economy

  • Built-in configurable currency
  • Player-to-player money transfers
  • Compatible with other economy mods

🔹 Progression Locks

  • Certain items and tools require a minimum profession level
  • Diamond tools: Level 5
  • Netherite tools: Level 10

🔹 Level Rewards

  • Automatically receive rewards when leveling up
  • Tools, rare materials, and more

🔹 Leaderboards

  • Profession-specific rankings
  • Global ranking
  • Wealth ranking
  • Completed quests ranking

👤 Player Commands

  • /job choose <profession> – Choose your main profession
  • /job info – View your levels and XP
  • /job xp – View recently earned XP
  • /job perks – View active perks
  • /job balance – View your balance
  • /job pay <player> <amount> – Send money to another player
  • /job quest – Manage quests
  • /job leaderboard – View leaderboards
  • /job discipline – View your specializations
  • /job menu – Open the GUI menu

🛡 Admin Commands

  • /job admin set <player> <profession> <level> – Set a profession level
  • /job admin add <player> <profession> <xp> – Add XP
  • /job admin reset <player> – Reset a player
  • /job admin reload – Reload configuration
  • /job admin money set/add/remove <player> <amount> – Manage currency

📦 Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader 0.14.0+
  2. Install Fabric API
  3. Place the .jar file in your mods folder
  4. Launch the game

⚙️ Configuration

The configuration file is located in:
config/professionsmod.yml

You can configure:

  • XP values per block, mob, or item
  • XP multipliers and bonuses
  • Economy settings
  • Quest rewards
  • And much more
