Description

Profound Provisions

TLDR: A lot of weapons

This mod adds a bunch of weapons to the game, mostly consisting of scrapped or reused ideas from old material, with no real theme. Currently(v1.1.0) theres 12 new weapons and 4 new armor sets. Ranging from flamethrowers and frying pans to magic wands and giant hammers you'll find this mod doesn't take itself very seriously(in the best possible way). Every weapon has a fairly simple recipe but alternatively Weaponsmith villagers will offer a new trade; The Weapons Crate, which will contain a random Profound Provisions weapon.

Despite the absurdity of the weapons they are rather grounded and balanced and in most cases* arent unreasonably overpowered

*some weapons pair with armor sets or strength potions for considerably large damage buffs

The Weapons in Question:

The following is based off of a game me and a friend made on a minecraft server: Survival The Above Average Ball Image depicting the 3 STAAB items in a cave

  • The Fox Trotters(aside from being great for conventions) is a pair of boots that will make you in to a tiny menace to society.
  • The Phox Trotters are just like the fox trotters but with considerably more fire involved. Boosting flaming projectile damage by %50 and doubling the damage from the Braixtick
  • The Braixtick is a fun little magic wand based off the one Braixen has in pokemon, it shoots giant fire blasts that do AOE damage.

Team Conflict refers to yet another game I made on a server, based on TF2 Team Fortress 2 + Team Conflict A TF2 update blog style list of all the tf2/team conflict weapons

  • If you've ever wanted to be really annoying to anyone who ever made the mistake of picking up a projectile weapon, The Home-Run is made just for you! This surprisingly powerful baseball bat can parry any projectile it wants, even boosting the reflected projectiles damage by %300
  • The Frying Pan is a weapon that relies on pure random chance to do meaningful damage. While maybe bringing literally anything else would be better for consistency, you'll find this far more entertaining.
  • The Blade of Souls is a snowball weapon, every kill will boost this weapon and it user's power(for about 20 seconds).
  • The Air-Presser Axe is a silly axe that launches people into the air so you can point and laugh at them.
  • The Flamethrower is a flamethrower, it throws fire.
  • The Bomb on a Stick is a bomb on a stick that just so happens to be explosive.

Spring's Originals. or any reused ones that didnt fit in with the rest The scrapped version of the striker from Spring's Eco Mod, this weapon is a chain combo weapon that launches the user in the air for massive slam down damage. The Chain Breaker is what the Striker(Spring's Eco Mod) was originally going be before I changed my mind. The Chain Breaker will reward you for landing back to back crits while also launching you in the air. Blade of Spades, this very large sword will randomly multiply dealt damage by 0.1-2.5 times. it also has a 1% chance to smite the victim. Luxembourg Shield, its a throwable shield with the Luxembourg flag printed on it.

  • The Blade of Spades is like a handheld casino. It will multiply the damage dealt with a random number between 0.1-2.5, it also has a %1 to instantly smite the victim(The Jackpot).
  • The Luxembourg Shield is Captain America but theres a really funny bit about copyright laws. It can be thrown to do a bunch of damage and so long as it doesnt hit any walls on the way to and from it will return to you on its own.
