Description

Summary

An unofficial 1.20.1 port of ProjectEX. Sixteen tiers of collectors, relays and power flowers, EMC links that automation can drive, the Arcane Tablet, the Alchemy Table and the Final Star — all built on ProjectE's EMC.

Description

ProjectEX Prime

An unofficial port of ProjectEX to Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge).

ProjectE gives you EMC. This mod is about producing it in quantity, moving it around, and spending it without walking back to a Transmutation Table.

What it adds

Collectors, Relays and Power Flowers, sixteen tiers of each. Every matter tier produces four times the one below it, and a Power Flower is worth eighteen collectors and thirty relays in one block, paying straight into its owner's transmutation balance.

EMC Links. Feed items in and they become EMC in your balance. Pick what an output slot makes and take it out as items, paid for out of that same balance. A link is an inventory as far as the world is concerned, so hoppers, pipes and storage networks drive it with no interface involved — and it keeps working while its owner is offline.

  • Basic Energy EMC Link — EMC only
  • Personal EMC Link — eighteen input slots, one output
  • Refined EMC Link — one input, nine outputs, and it learns what it eats
  • Compressed Refined EMC Link — one input, fifty four outputs

Arcane Transmutation Tablet. A crafting grid you carry. Take the result and every ingredient that vanished is bought back out of your EMC and put where it was, so a recipe repeats until the EMC runs out. Beside it sits a transmutation panel that searches, learns, unlearns, sells and buys.

Alchemy Table. Turns one item into another for EMC, walking fixed chains — redstone to gunpowder to glowstone to blaze powder to blaze rod, and eleven more. Feed it from a collector or a relay. The chains are ordinary recipes, so a pack can add, remove and reprice them.

Stone Transmutation Table. A Transmutation Table that hangs on a wall or a ceiling, and that a pack can restrict to a whitelist of materials.

Magnum, Colossal and Final Stars. Twelve Klein Stars carrying on past the Omega, each holding four times the one before it, and keeping what they hold when crafted into the next tier up. The Final Star never empties, and on a Dark Matter Pedestal it copies items instead.

Knowledge Sharing Book. Sign it, hand it over, and the reader learns everything you know. You do not have to be online for them to read it.

An in game guide, and an on screen EMC counter that shows not just your balance but how fast it is moving.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47 or newer
  • ProjectE PE1.0.1 or newer — required
  • JEI 15 — optional. It adds an Alchemy Table category, makes the transmutation ring answer to R and U, and gives the tablet a transfer arrow that fills the grid from your inventory first and buys the rest out of your EMC

GuideME ships inside the jar. There is nothing extra to download.

Credits and license

This is a modified work. It derives from FTBTeam/FTB-ProjectEX, branch 1.12, commit 884d3ccdc35c2682f23247373e7e47fbace81006, originally written by LatvianModder and the FTB Team.

The port replaced the build system and rewrote the mod against the modern registry, block entity, menu, networking and data generation APIs, and against ProjectE's and JEI's current ones.
